This is the first I heard that it’s happened to the Dems as well. Maybe things will even out then! HA. What a friggin’ mess. I think we should do the voting procedure that Iraq has. Dipping a finger in ink.

Another co-worker of mine experienced the same thing. She was registered as an independent and had to vote Democrat or Independent but not allowed to vote Republican. STINKS.
My husband went back to the polls to fill out a provisional ballot and they wouldn’t let him. Most of the workers are Alzheimer’s patients and don’t know what a provisional ballot is.
In Haggard's voicemail recording he said something to the effect of, "I'd like to buy another $200 worth"...the word "another" is significant. It wasn't his first time.
Of course they should look at Jones but Haggard is a pastor and leader and has a secret life. Hypocracy is the most damaging thing to Christianity than anything.
I can't believe this guy thinks we believe his lies. "I bought drugs but threw them away. I paid a gay prostitute but only had a massage...once a month for three years!!" The lies have to stop.
Who cares if the timing is questionable. If the guy is gay and a pastor and "fighting against gay marriage" he is sending the world he message that "Christians are hypocrits". Timing is never good for people being two-faced and having secret lives.

I never missed it. I watched it everyday after school. From Tiny Tim to the Absent Minded Professor to Phyllis Diller, it was a very entertaining show for adults and kids.
I think the only way for people to take Mel's apology seriously is if we see him seriously check himself into rehab and SERIOUSLY beat his booze addiction.
The emphasis is not on the laws but on grace. We cannot save ourselves. It is by our love for Christ that we want to obey...not out of fear. It's a different mindset.
Isn't legalistic the same as work oriented? There were rules to follow and if you didn't follow them to a tee, I was told, "well, you will go to hell". It has only been in the last few years I have learned what "grace" is...and still struggle with the whole idea of it. I'm still trying to be the perfect Christian based on works so God isn't mad at me.
