A Minneapolis man is facing felony charges after allegedly pulling out a gun and threatening staff at an LGBTQ bar. Hennepin County prosecutors say Conell Walter Harris, 29, entered the 19 Bar in Loring Park late Monday where staff and customers said he was "acting strangely,” according to court documents. When an employee asked to see his ID, Harris became upset and a bartender asked him to leave. Harris allegedly refused, pulled out a gun, and threatened staff members. Army officials are telling soldiers who refuse to get vaccinated against COVID-19 that they aren't getting booted immediately, but they can't stay in the service for a career. In a memo to the force last week, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth said active-duty soldiers, reservists and Guardsmen who refuse the vaccine will be "flagged," meaning they will be barred from reenlistment, promotions and potentially most schools. Texas public school students must show up in person to take the STAAR test this spring, and districts can apply for waivers to socially distance test takers, according to recent guidance released by the Texas Education Agency. Four people – including the gunman --are dead following what police called an active shooter situation in downtown Cincinnati.
