“So essentially, Cruz supporters are limp-wristed sissies?”

That’s what I got from the article as well....that Cruz supporters need a safe space.

    And KaSICK supporters need therapy........

So Cruz is now pro choice? That’s breaking news. He would ignore an abortion law and would not punish women who broke the law. Wonder when the media will pick up on that.

That is pretty much an admission that he is OK with it but has to say he is against it to keep the pro life people happy.

Pretty much like saying you want to secure the borders but would not be willing to deport anyone. That position is pretty much pro illegal immigration without saying you are. http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/10/politics/ted-cruz-immigration-deportation-guns-terrorism/

Neither of those are conservative positions, but they are both Cruz positions. Unless the definition of conservative has changed and nobody told me.

In the context of a currently legal activity becoming illegal and,,,should those who break a new law be held accountable for their actions...Trump says yes.

The media, Dems, RINOs all chime in and say no, people who break the laws should not be held accountable.

So add illegal abortions to personal drug use, sneaking over the border and setting up a government server in your house...the liberal position to laws is to ignore them.

Of course they all coughed up their Cheerios....they never met a law they liked unless it raised taxes.

For me....I have no issue with penalizing someone who breaks the law. Even if that law forbids a woman from murdering her child.

Think about it.....the left is bent out of shape because killing the unborn is a sacred sacrament of their religion. You cannot dare make murder a punishable offense....that would be inhumane.

A vote for the R establishment is a vote for Hillary just as it has been a vote for Obama.

My historic vote for republicans has only given power to people who have every intention on maintaining the status quo and if that means putting Hillary in office, they are willing to do it.

Not going to hold my nose once again and vote for people who go to Washington and vote in favor of democrats at every turn.

Why not make it official and just pull the lever for Democrats.....seems like no matter who I vote for I get a Democrat anyway......lets just remove the veil already....we know who and what the establishment stands for and it is doing business as usual.....

Count me out.....I will stay home or vote D.

I for one am fine with the demise of the GOP as it exists today. Sooner the better.

If the cost of burning down the establishment is a Hillary presidency, so be it. Why does it matter if we have a Democratic president if the RINO congress rubber stamps all things Democrat and rejects all things conservatives.

  • White male GOP establishment wrong about Trump

As it stands now, the left and the establishment republicans have the same goals, that is, to thwart Trump’s rise to power.

It all makes sense now. Running losing candidates for president, having power to effect radical change in congress but marching lockstep with Democrats. Running as conservatives but voting with Democrats.

It’s the same people in different packaging. They have the same goals, same aspirations, same voting records. Trump threatens their status quo and they are terrified.

I think blowing up the republican party as it stands today is a GOOD thing, because it would be blowing up a part of the Democrat establishment that works to erode my freedom.

When republicans keep repeating that the party will implode if Trump is nominated they have to realize they are only encouraging me to pull the lever for Trump.

It’s not like they are going to win without Trump....so it’s not about beating Hillary.....it’s about them keeping their jobs........working hard in Washington to continue to chip away at my freedoms. Thanks but no thanks. Voting for Trump is the next best thing to dropping a bomb on Washington...just without the collateral damage.

When the Republican establishment put up candidates like McCain and Romney I gave up on them and switched to Independent.

The Republican party is left of JFK and they have no problem destroying a person who is doing what they claim they wanted, that is, pulling Reagan Democrats over, making a bigger tent and as a result, GROWING the Republican party.

It is clear to me that the powers that be in the Republican party are content to be in last place as long as they can hold on to the power they have. If it means thwarting the majority, so be it.

I am voting for Trump to keep Hillary out of the white house, and, to get rid of the entrenched GOP establishment.

You cannot cure cancer with a pretty band aid. You have to have radical surgery. Trump is a cure to the disease, but he is not the long term solution.

Cruz is not establishment, but he does not grow the party and therefore, does not win elections. I would not fault anyone voting what their heart tells them. My heart tells me that if I vote for Cruz it guarantees Hillary wins and that is a massive blow to all things conservative. I do not see as Trump being a different version of the same as Hillary, I see him as a different brand of Cruz.

Trump can win and root out the cancer on both sides of the isle.....to me...he is chemo.....he makes your hair fall out, makes you throw up...weakens you....but he is a cure and a beginning of a recovery.

I had some hope for Cruz, but if his people are going to do things like this, then I have concerns for his ability to make good judgements on who he hires.

I understand there is a bad apple here and there, but after three times, it’s a theme, not an accident.

With all of the rampant police shootings it seems like one of these days a parent or spouse is going to pay a visit to a cops house and exact revenge.

I cannot believe it hasn’t happened yet. Perhaps they would hesitate to kill if they felt it could come back on them and their family.

And what exactly did you learn about Catholicism and where did you learn it?

I was raised in the Catholic church. I picked up the bible in my late teens and was shocked at the blatant contradictions. The teachings on Mary, the priesthood, even who Jesus is...all very different from what the bible says. You don’t have to like it, but at least be honest that there is nothing in the bible about lent, Mary ascending in to heaven, Jesus falling three times on the way to the cross. I am just pointing out that its not in there.

As for the Lords supper, its a metaphor people...

Give me book chapter and verse of where Mary ascended in to heaven....of where she was sinless....of where she never had sex......Catholic doctrine is far far far from scripture and it always trumps the word of God.

Paul also tells us Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.

You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: “‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
    They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.

I have found that when it comes to Catholicism, what is taught in the Bible and what is taught in Catholicism are mutually exclusive and should not be confused as being tied to one another in any sense. Catholic doctrine always trumps biblical doctrine regardless. Since biblical scripture is negated, it fails to persuade the catholic believer. Not saying to quit trying, just saying it doesn’t matter what the bible says to a Catholic when it conflicts with what their teachings are. It is simply ignored as irrelevant. Doesn’t matter if Jesus himself said it, your quoting of scripture falls on deaf ears and blind eyes.

I live in the burbs north of Dallas. Blacks are loving what JWP did...they are cheering him. They love this behavior because he is standing up to white devils.

What people outside of Dallas think is racist behavior is actually what keeps this guy getting re-elected over and over again.

In other news...during the super bowl, Michael Vick was given keys to the city of Dallas by one of our city officials.
