Donald Trump has hired Jim Murphy as the campaign’s new national political director, The New York Times reported Sunday night. Murphy is the head of JLM Consulting and was an adviser to Bob Dole’s presidential campaigns in 1988 and 1996; he also managed floor operations at three GOP conventions. The move comes about a week after presumptive GOP nominee fired Rick Wiley.
