I survived the great LA earthquake. Waiting for CNN to call for interview. I am now an earthquake safety expert! Well I was really up in Victorville about 100 miles away when it happened. But as soon as I heard (and workday ended) I went to my parents house to check on them. They also don't live in LA. But I can hear the radio station KFI 640 where I work and it is in Burbank.

I have heard conflicting stories about if a "no party preference" voter can vote for president in the June 7th California primary. They commentator on the radio said you can't but I think he was wrong. After reading the link http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/political-parties/no-party-preference/ to the state elections and voter information, I think you can vote with out re-registering as a Republican but you will need to ask for a Republican primary presidential ballot. Only the American Independent Party, Democratic Party and the Libertarian Party notified the Secretary of State that they will allow No Party Preference voters to request their party’s presidential...

We now have ex ? hippies running the establishment government. And they have made the establishment a bad thing to today's conservatives witch are very much like the establishment of the 60's. I was a young kid in the 60's but I do have some clear memories. Mainly because I never smoked dope. When did main steam conservative America be become anti-establishment? This clip from Dragnet extolled the values of the establishment. It is still good today explaining what a good government allow people to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZo2hhvvlpw Have modern day conservative become the anti-establishment movement with some comparisons to the...

I will support ANY of the current candidates over ANY of the Democrat candidates. It wasn't that long ago that we were happy with wide number of good candidates. But I want to go recorded about some candidates. Trump It is a guaranty fact that Trump will compromise on something that will get everybody's underwear in a bunch with a major wedgie. Cruz I don't think the citizen status will be a big issue. He too will compromise but but it will be more of a riding up feeling. Bush The only solace in his being elected would seeing Barbra...

If Trump is elected president do you think he will pardon the Thanksgiving Turkey. It has a recent practice among presidents to pardon a for Thanksgiving. But even as I child I was sure they still ate Thanksgiving day. Would Putin hold such a tradition if Russia had one. Do you think Trump would hold on to this tradition? It is said to date back to Truman but was really tradition till about Kennedy. Anyone have a better history?

I need to buy I hearing aid. I thought it would be nice if you could link them to your smart phone. I found one made by GN ReSound http://appleinsider.com/articles/13/11/25/first-fully-integrated-made-for-iphone-hearing-aids-are-set-to-hit-the-market They are about $3,000 each. So I looked at the availible apps for Iphones and Andriods. There were too many to sort out the best so I came here. I have a iPhone 4 but my contract needs in aug and I can get any type of new phone. I haven't bought the hearing aids yet because I want to pair the phone, hearing aid and the apps. Costco has...

The City Council is looking for ways to limit public comment during meetings after a pastor said he was placing a curse on the city manager and his family. "It touched a nerve for me," Councilman John Anderson said in an interview. "Not that criticism directed at (the city manager) is anything to get worked up over, but this went beyond criticism." The incident occurred when Pastor John Sabbath of Liv-In Christ Christian Center in Chino got up to speak during this week's council meeting. Sabbath was upset that the city did not give funding to his organization following a...
