I just got word that fellow FReeper and co-worker CougarGA7 had a heart attack over the weekend. I've spoken to his wife and he is in the hospital and has had a stent installed, and the prognosis looks good for recovery. Keeping him in your thoughts is appreciated. Those who are inclined to, a prayer would be nice. Those who know him are welcome to post such friendly abuse as is merited.

Lionel Tate will get a rare second chance: another bite at the same plea agreement that his mother and his former attorney rejected before his 2001 trial for the murder of 6-year-old Tiffany Eunick. Broward County prosecutors announced Friday they would allow Tate to plead guilty to second-degree murder in exchange for three years in a juvenile facility, followed by one year of house arrest and 10 years of probation.
