From personal observation, the demographic breakdown of the mask compliance in Knoxville has been interesting. For example, in West Knoxville, the higher-end area, compliance seems to be 85-90% amongst the shoppers we have seen. Downtown Knoxville has been more along the lines of 65-75%, whereas North and East Knoxville, the older sections of town, and arguably the less affluent area, the compliance has been fairly low, in the 50% range.
I would love to see a real study breaking down the compliance rates based on demographics.
