  • The Terrible Truth About Walter Cronkite

It is wrong to speak ill of the dead. On the other hand, it is an insult to the intelligence of the American people to pretend that Walter Cronkite was the “voice of God” and “universally credible,” as Mara Liasson put it on Fox News Sunday. The terrible truth is that Walter Cronkite symbolized liberal media bias and used that bias with disastrous consequences for our nation and the world. His latest cause was world government and the destruction of American sovereignty.

A Delaware court is asked to stop Shari Redstone from interfering with a meeting later this week that could dilute her company's voting interest in CBS. _______________________________________________________________________________________ In a move that escalates an internal battle for control, CBS has filed a lawsuit in Delaware Chancery Court against Shari Redstone, Sumner Redstone and National Amusements, Inc., currently the controlling stakeholder for CBS. The Redstones have made it clear they would like to see CBS merge with Viacom. The Redstones hold Class A common stock in CBS, which means they currently have the voting power over other public shareholders who maintain Class...

President Donald Trump suggested Wednesday that he might revoke White House credentials for some journalists, following the publication of a survey that showed a dramatic leftward tilt in television news coverage about him. The Media Research Center, a conservative watchdog group, tracked the evening newscasts on ABC, CBS and NBC for the first four months of this year and found more than 1,600 'explicitly positive and negative' statements about the president. The group determined that nine out of 10 of those broadcast statements were negative. It did not include CNN and MSNBC in its research. Trump vented, saying: 'The Fake...

Twenty-seven more women have accused Charlie Rose of sexual harassment, according to a report Thursday that says CBS was alerted to his alleged behavior as early as 1986 and as recently as April 2017. The 76-year-old journalist was fired from CBS and PBS in November in light of sexual misconduct allegations from eight women. But an additional 27 have now come forward — 14 CBS News employees and 13 others who worked with him elsewhere, according to the Washington Post, which conducted five months of interviews and spoke with more than 100 of his former colleagues. The new allegations date...

Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said President Donald Trump was a real estate developer, and therefore “not really a business person.” BRENNAN: At the DNC in 2016, you called Donald Trump a “risky, reckless and radical choice” and the country you said couldn’t afford to make that mistake. BLOOMBERG: Did I say that? BRENNAN: It was a memorable quote. Has he done anything to make you reconsider that? Do you think he’s doing a good job? BLOOMBERG: I think he, it’s, I would give him an incomplete grade. Some of the things that...
  • Trump lashes out at New York Times reporter in latest attack on press

    04/21/2018 4:13:57 PM PDT · by bryan999 · 20 replies
President Trump's first public comments from Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday were to attack New York Times' White House correspondent Maggie Haberman, apparently over her coverage of a criminal investigation of Mr. Trump's personal lawyer. They were the latest in his sustained attacks on the press in general, specific media outlets, and even specific reporters, as well as their sources and methods. His remarks also served as an indication of how much the situation involving his lawyer Michael Cohen appears to be frustrating Mr. Trump. The president has dubbed recent raids on Cohen's office, home and hotel room a "disgrace"...
  • Vanity - ABC TV Network, & James Comey did not have a good night TV viewer audience.

The ABC "Comey" interview was not the blockbuster advertised. Out of 330,000,000 million American a scrawny, 9,800,000 viewers tuned in. That adds up to about five percent of the American population Shucks, the old, has-been porno star "Stormy Daniels" boring as she was, garnered 21,000,000 viewers on CBS, Sixty Minutes. And, of course the Country Music Awards wiped James Comey off the face of the earth, last evening. But, folks, do not despair......the Obamabot low life have begun to attack each other with Comey, McCabe and Lynch, ripping each other apart as to who told lies or did not tell...

The ABC/Stephanopoulos/Comey interview failed and only about a paltry,3% of Americans tuned in. They say history repeats itself. If that is true, which I believe it is...tonight should be another repeat of Comey, interview failure. Tonight, James Comey blesses The CBS Late Show, hosted by Stephen Colbert. I suspect, the dialogue and presentation will be just as boring as the ABC farce, an insult to one's intelligence, and full of both Comey & Colbert ranting, raving, babbling nonsense & lies, with no meaningful, substance whatsoever. Who knows...maybe Colbert/Comey will attract 40-50 million TV viewers, I doubt it, but whatever happens...

CBS News erroneously published an online obituary Sunday afternoon for former first lady Barbara Bush, whose family announced earlier in the day that she was in failing health. The story’s headline read “DO NOT PUBLISH – Former first lady Barbara Bush d*es at age 92 DO NOT PUBLISH.” It was briefly published on cbsnews.com, then taken down. The first lines of the story read, “Barbara Bush, the witty, gregarious matriarch of a political dynasty that propelled two of its members to the White House and dominated Republican politics for decades, has died after a series of recent hospitalizations. A one-sided Wednesday report at CBS News tried to convince readers that University of Tennessee-Chattanooga student Brenna Spencer's "I don't take normal graduation photos" tweet picturing her with a firearm generated significant "backlash." To create a false impression, the network cited critical tweets from two users with a combined eight Twitter followers, ignoring far more significant support Spencer received, including two Second Amendment-supporting women with a combined 160,000 followers. CBS's unbylined April 11 story only headlined "backlash": Woman's gun-toting "graduation photo" sparks backlash online A University of Tennessee-Chattanooga senior's graduation photo has generated controversy on social media. CBS host Gayle King told outgoing Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) she felt "very excluded" when looking at a photo of Ryan, President Donald Trump and other top Republicans because they were all white men. Ryan, who announced Wednesday he would retire from Congress at the end of his current term, met Trump at the White House and posed for a "thumbs-up" photo with him, Vice President Mike Pence, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.), Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R., Texas), House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.) and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R.,...

Monday was marked by the rolling train wreck that was former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg’s seemingly non-stop appearances on cable news shows taunting Special Counsel Robert Mueller for subpoenaing him. During his wild interviews (which lasted from mid-afternoon into the night), Nunberg made numerous suggestions that federal investigators may have some kind of case against President Trump. And that was all the liberal network news outlets needed to run with it. Both CBS Evening News and ABC’s World News Tonight kicked off their programs with the jaw-dropping spectacle. On CBS, anchor Jeff Glor even announced that they were pushing back...

As our lawsuit continues, so do our forensics. New computer investigative tools have become available, and grains of evidence have been solidified into forensic mountains. Our evidence involves multiple computers and government I.P. addresses discovered improperly residing in them. That brings us to the news. Not long ago, my forensics team asked if I used that Apple computer after the IG returned it. My team was conducting a new exam. “No,” I replied, “it hasn’t functioned since before I gave it to the IG. I just stored it when they returned it. Why?” “Because — that’s not your hard drive...

In an attempt to excuse Oakland, California Mayor Libby Schaaf’s outrageous decision to help criminal aliens evade federal authorities, CBS and NBC portrayed the Democrat’s unlawful action as the result of a “feud” with the Trump administration over immigration policy. At least those two networks covered the story, unlike ABC, which has failed to discover the controversy.   “Much more ahead on tonight’s CBS Evening News, including the mayor who defied a federal agency,” anchor Jeff Glor teased Wednesday night. Introducing the report minutes later, he declared: “The battle over sanctuary cities has exploded into a public feud between the...

So what's Ben Rhodes been up to these days? His unmaskings and leaks are over, he doesn't have Seb Gorka to lie about, and his failures as a national security official have pretty well been exposed. I kid you not: he hasn't been idle. His latest scheme is launching a "shadow" National Security Council, called "National Security Action," co-chairing the operation with Jake Sullivan. Showing that he was always the one running things in the Obama White House, despite his creative writing major, his past career as a failed novelist, and his lack of national security experience, he's herded a...

On Sunday’s “Face the Nation,” Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chairman John Podesta was rattled after CBS host Nancy Cordes asked him how the Russians knew to focus on Michigan and Wisconsin and Hillary didn’t. BRUTAL. Nancy Cordes referenced Robert Mueller’s indictment which revealed the Russians targeted swing states such as Michigan and Wisconsin for their disinformation campaign. “But it does beg the question, how is it that these Russian operatives knew to focus on purple states like Michigan and Wisconsin and your campaign didn’t?” Nancy Cordes asked. Podesta was visibly flustered. Cordes quickly shot back and said, “Hillary Clinton herself...
