Medical Xpress / The Journal of Sexual Medicine ^ | Oct. 24, 2023 | Bob Yirka / Mohit Khera et al
A trio of medical researchers has found that many men experiencing erectile dysfunction can overcome much of the problem by simply engaging in aerobic exercise. Prior research has shown that many older men experience problems with achieving an erection when they want to have sex. In this new study, the researchers identified that some research has shown that erectile dysfunction is quite often associated with cardiovascular health and associated symptoms such as inflammation and narrowing and/or hardening of the arteries. They also noted that regular aerobic exercise has been shown to reduce symptoms of cardiovascular disease. This made them wonder...

Donald Trump took a new swipe at Bill and Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, tweeting a double-barreled insult about the former president's economic record and his penchant for messing around. Hillary said Sunday that she plans to put her husband in charge of revitalizing the American economy if she wins the White House. Trump said the former secretary of state should be able to do the job herself – and hinted that the famously randy Bill could bring a host of troubles with him if he returns to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. 'Crooked Hillary said her husband is going to be in...

Some Internet news outlets have speculated that a man named Dan Wolfe, who uses the twitter handle @patritousa76, is the Weinergate hacker.  Mr. Wolfe was the first and likely only person to copy the yfrog URL of the now infamous lewd image sent from the @RepWeiner twitter account and then tweet it from his own account. Earlier this evening, Big Government contributor Lee Stranahan reached out to Mr. Wolfe via twitter; Wolfe went on record denying hacking into Congressman Anthony Weiner’s verified account: @Stranahan @RepWeiner I had nothing at all to do with the picture being posted on the @RepWeiner...

Scientists believe a spider could lead to a breakthrough in sexual health after finding a single bite can cause a four hour erection. Researchers at the Medical College of Georgia believe the venom of the Brazilian wandering spider could lead to a new cure for erectile dysfunction. Dr Kenia Nunes, a physiologist at the college, said it works in a different way to Viagra, reports the Daily Mail, "This is good because we know that some patients don't respond to the conventional therapy. This could be an optional treatment for them," she said. Her study, published in the Journal of...

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Kathryn Rogers, next week in an intimate ceremony at his beachfront home in Palm Beach, Fla. Limbaugh, 59, met 33-year-old Rogers, a direct descendant of Founding Father John Adams, in 2004 when she ran a golf tournament/charity fundraiser and Limbaugh was a celebrity guest, Jose Lambiet reports in his column in the Palm Beach Post. At the time, Limbaugh was getting divorced from third wife Marta. That split was finalized later that year, and Limbaugh and Rogers were an item by the summer of 2007.

    Yonhap News (South Korea) ^ | January 27, 2005
WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 (Yonhap) -- North Korea has established itself as the leading counterfeiter of brand-name cigarettes, circulating more than two billion packs a year worldwide from Taiwan to Belize, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday. Cigarette maker Philip Morris was tracking down the source of fake Marlboros, and a year later in 2005, the company connected them to North Korea, the paper said. Cigarette companies have hired former intelligence officials to crack down on the operation and even sent agents into North Korea, and what they discovered was an ongoing lucrative business in the hermit state, sanctioned by...

As the CIA-leak case heated up, Wilson kept criticizing the Administration, while Plame kept a low profile, ultimately leaving the CIA for a better assignment: taking care of the couple's 5-year-old twins.

BARBRA STREISAND is sick of advertisments for anti-impotence drugs, deeming them "morally questionnable". The singer and actress claims Hollywood films hardly ever shape our moral attitudes, unlike commercials for CIALIS, which improves a man's ability to function for up to 36 hours. She moans, "I resent this thing about Hollywood and moral values. What movies are out now that have questionable moral values? "You know what I think has questionable moral values? The Cialis commercials."

Viagra, which treats a common but decidedly nonfatal male malady, might soon have a new role treating a rare but life-threatening disease that strikes mainly women. Doctors said yesterday that sildenafil citrate, the ingredient in Pfizer's impotence pill, had proven effective in a clinical trial as a treatment for pulmonary arterial hypertension - extremely high pressure in the artery carrying blood to the lungs. "It is a very promising new therapy for the treatment of a very severe disease," said H. Ardeschir Ghofrani, an assistant professor at the University of Giessen in Germany, who presented the results at the annual...

Names of impotence drugs seem to be popping up everywhere these days. E-mail come-ons for Cialis crowd our inboxes. Lengthy ads for Levitra bombard our TV screens. And who can forget former Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole’s star turn as a Viagra pitchman? Or NASCAR driver Mark Martin’s Viagra-mobile? Americans may soon see these impotence drugs’ names in yet another place: On a list of drugs covered by Medicare. Medicare’s drug standards agency, U.S. Pharmacopeia, recently included “impotence agents” in its draft list of drugs to be paid for by Medicare starting in 2006. Here’s hoping they strike the libido-lifting...
