    More than twice as many Texas voters, by percentage, cast ballots during early voting this year, compared to the totals from the 2014 midterm elections, according to the Secretary of State's office. Early voting ended Friday and already 4,884,528 (39.86 percent of voters) have gone to the polls or mailed in a ballot. In 2014, 1,715,731 (19.11 percent) early voted.
