VIDEO This is a definite stock up deal if you live in an area serviced by Publix in the Southeast. Right now Kentucky Legend Hickory and Applewood bacon 16 oz packs are selling for $8.99 BOGO or two for $8.99. However Publix also has a store coupon in their Family Celebrations booklet for $2 off. Therefore if you buy two Kentucky Legend packs of bacon it will cost $8.99 minus $4 for the two store coupons you use. The result is that you will pay only $4.99 total or $2.50 per 16 oz pack. The good news is if you can...
  • Chinese students discover loophole for free KFC, and the Colonel is displeased

In April of 2018, a 23-year-old university student in Shanghai whose last name is Xu found a loophole in KFC’s online ordering system. He discovered that he could pay for food using coupons in a KFC app, then he could get a refund of the very same coupons immediately if he used a different app. In other words, free food! At one of the most popular restaurants in China! But then he flew too close to the fried chicken sun, and things ended very poorly. Vice has the story. After Xu discovered the KFC loophole, he ordered a lot of...
  • WATCH:Biden stumbles over words in debate, references people clipping coupons in the stock market

    Fox News ^ | 10/15/19 | Sam Dorman | Fox News
Former Vice President Joe Biden appeared to stumble over his words while discussing the economy and taxes on Tuesday night. "Why should someone who's clipping coupons in the stock market may, in fact, pay a lower tax rate than someone who in fact is, like I said, a schoolteacher and a fireman? It's ridiculous," Biden said. Biden made those comments while appearing at the fourth Democratic debate. Biden has long been the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination but is facing a potential challenge Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., who has been gaining traction in key states.

VIDEO I give some tips on how I am saving money on Independence Day just by using discounted gift cards, coupons, and bowling passes as well as parking my car in a free vs expensive space. My estimated savings today alone using simple thrifty methods comes to at least $120. However, you can do the same and not just on Independence Day but EVERY day. Remember, use the internet to your advantage to make every day a financial Independence Day for yourselves, not just on the Fourth of July.

VIDEO One of my favorite toothpastes is Colgate Optic White and I used coupons and Balance Points at Walgreens this week to further add to my stockpile. As you can see in this video, this toothpaste was FREE. All I paid was the sales tax. When I purchased two Colgates in this deal, I got 4000 Balance Points which I then turned around and applied (along with $2 coupons) to yet more toothpaste of the same brand. Normally you can't do this but this is one of the rare such deals in which you can.

VIDEO People ask me a lot about where I get all my coupons. Well, when I only need a couple of coupons, I usually just print them out. However, since the print limit is normally just two, when I need more I order them online such as from the Coupon Flea Market as I did in this case when I ordered 20 Celentano coupons for $1.50 per product. I applied these Celentano coupons to their frozen meatballs and in this video I demonstrate how I ended up getting 20 12-oz bags of them for just $1 each. Finally, you can...

VIDEO Perhaps the easiest products to get a great deal on are Tide Pods. Why? Because they are frequently on sale and because they frequently have high value coupons available which are often online which you can print out. In this demonstration, I show how I combined a sale with a coupon that I printed out. I made this purchase on Friday evening but the next morning I repeated the same process again the next day to get a second bag of Tide Pods at the same price which came to about 75% off the original retail price.

I know there are a few other items I forgot to mention but this covers most of them.

Okay, it is the last day of the year. So what did you do in 2017 that saved you money? I am all ears and will be taking notes. In addition, I will lead off with my own moves to save money. My biggest single money savings move of 2017 was getting Amazon Fire Stick for our 2 TVs. At the same time I cut out our cable TV. Net savings for the year over $600. This comes from saving $80 per month by cutting Comcast Cable TV. Actually I am really saving $55 per month because along with my...

Does anybody know what Barack Obama was doing during his college years? We know that he was the president of the Harvard Law Review but do we even know what articles, if any, he wrote for it? Beyond that his college years are almost completely blank as to his grades or activitivies to the extent that his time at Columbia University has been completely erased from memory. No professor nor student from that time even remembers him attending classes at Columbia. Compare that big MSM yawn to the recent mainstream media frenzy which included a 2223 word front page Washington Post...

You should be taking Omega 3 fish oil (or flax seed oil) pills for your heart health. Problem is that these pills can be a bit pricey. If you want a bottle of 60 1290 MG fish oil pills the regular price runs between $10.49 and per $12.99 bottle. However, this week the sales price at Walgreens for the Sundown 1290 MG fish oil pills is only $7. But wait...THERE'S MORE!!! When you buy one of these Sundowns you get a Register Rewards printout for another $7. Normally if you use that register rewards on another Sundown, you won't...

As many of you know I have a HUGE passion for couponing. I mean I eat, breath, sleep, and dream coupons. It is constantly on my mind, especially working out new coupon strategy scenarios. Like last Thursday when I figured out how to score FREE Kellogg's breakfast bars which enabled me to also score FREE BO sticks. I won't go into the exact details but the first item did allow me to score the second item FREE. However, on Saturday morning when I attempted to do this same deal again, I found out that the Kellogg's coupons had expired...

No specific couponing tips in this edition. Just a philosophical look at the art of couponing and why it is now an absolute necessity in the Age Of Obama and Big Government attempts to further separate you from your money. As many of you who previously pooh-poohed couponing are now finding out due to paycheck sticker shock, The Bamster has now reduced your monthly take-home pay by anywhere to at least $50 to $100 per month and the socialists now want to take even MORE. So how to fight back? My answer is to make even greater use of...

So Groupon and Living Social are in trouble.  Color me unsurprised; I never got the Groupon business model.  Well, I guess I got the business model--it's not that complicated--but I never got why people thought that eventually this model was going to be worth a zillion dollars.   Coupons basically serve two functions for businesses--advertising, and price discrimination.  Advertising means it brings in new customers by making them aware of your service, or giving them an incentive to try it.  Price discrimination, on the other hand, is what food processors do with grocery store coupons: it lets them sell their...

GERMANTOWN, TN - (WMC-TV) - An extreme couponer claims she was attacked at a dollar store when she said the manager refused to honor her coupons. The entire ordeal was caught on camera. The sign at the store states coupons are accepted at Dollar Tree but a shopper is now nursing a busted lip and popped blood vessels in her eye after she says the manager refused to deal with her "wad of coupons". She said she was attacked while leaving the store. Missy Monzo-Marte says she was shopping at the Dollar Tree in Germantown with a friend, both of...

Dear Dave, Is it worth the time and effort to use coupons, or are they just a waste of time and a ploy to get you to buy things? Tammy Dear Tammy, Coupons are definitely a ploy to entice you to buy something you may not have purchased otherwise. But that doesn’t mean they’re bad things. The practical and sensible application of coupons can definitely help you save money. The main things to watch out for when using coupons are overbuying and spending your money on things you don’t really need. Seriously, you don’t need to hit Sam’s or Costco...
