“Millions” could die in Ukraine’s war with Russia if US lawmakers don’t approve President Joe Biden’s $60 billion aid request for Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told CNN on Sunday. Asked by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins about a claim made by the US Senator J.D. Vance that the outcome of the war would not change even if Ukraine receives the money, Zelensky said he wasn’t sure Vance “understands what is going on here.” “To understand it is to come to the front line to see what’s going on, to speak with the people, then to go to civilians to understand …...

German authorities say they have foiled a plot by a far-right terrorist group to overthrow the government. More than 3,000 police officers took part in raids across the country, with a self-styled prince among 25 people arrested. But who is Heinrich XIII Prince Reuss - the 71-year-old alleged mastermind - and what is the Reichsburger movement that's said to have inspired the plan? Heinrich XIII comes from a German aristocratic family that goes back to the 12th century, the House of Ruess, and authorities say the plotters planned to make him leader of a new government. According to German news...

In a demonstration against gasoline-powered cars, nine protesters glued themselves to the floor at the Porsche pavilion in the Autostadt museum in Wolfsburg, Germany. Spokesperson for the protesters Gianluca Grimalda denounced Volkswagen (VW), "they said they supported us, but they have failed to provide bowls for us to urinate and defecate into a decent manner while we're glued to the floor. They have also turned off the heat when the museum closes for the night. It is a crime against humanity." A spokesman for VW clarified the "support" issue. "We support their right to freedom of speech and assembly," he...

Despite constant claims to the contrary, the issue is not whether greenhouse gas emissions affect Earth’s climate. The questions are whether those emissions are overwhelming the powerful natural forces that have always driven climate fluctuations, and whether humans are causing dangerous climate change. No Real-World evidence supports a “dangerous manmade climate change” thesis. In fact, a moderately warmer planet with more atmospheric carbon dioxide would hugely benefit crop, forest and other plant growth, wildlife and humans – with no or minimal climate effect. A colder planet with less CO2 would punish them. And a chillier CO2-deprived planet with less reliable,...

Medical science is making bold new leaps every day. Not only is there a new medication out that is just like the old medication, except it costs 10 times as much, but the American Medical Association has decided that gender is purely imaginary. For thousands of years, human ignorance convinced us that there were two genders. Now the AMA says that gender is imaginary. You can be any gender you want. Change gender every week. Or every day. We’re in Hopechangeistan now. Biology, like economics and military science, are purely imaginary fields. “Science†says so. In other action Monday, the AMA...

Are the Biblical Holy Days Christian Festivals? Why do most people keep holidays that are different from the festivals listed and described in the pages of the Bible? Why do most people keep holidays that are different from the festivals listed and described in the pages of the Bible? When were the biblical feasts abandoned, and why? How can we be sure which sacred days Christians should observe? Here are the answers! Jesus Himself set an example for us (1 John 2:6) in observing the sacred festivals commanded in the Holy Scriptures (Matthew 26:17; Mark 1:21; Luke 4:16, 31; John...

We will risk the fairly safe assumption, as this is being written, that Air Force One did not make an appearance at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport sometime Thursday.... You almost have to laugh at this latest chapter in the seemingly endless “birther” saga, because about the only alternatives at this point are tears and/or nausea. It was embarrassing enough when members of the Georgia legislature -- including, to Columbus’ acute humiliation, two members of the local delegation -- drafted a “Presidential Eligibility Assurance Act” in the last legislative session. Now Georgians get to enjoy the added spectacle of their secretary...

The Urban Dictionary defines a ‘truther’ as, “A crazy person who believes the US government committed 9/11.” It then offers this imaginary conversation to illustrate the point: Truther: 9/11 was an inside job! Sane person: Prove it. Truther: There was no plane at the Pentagon, only a missile! Sane person: There’s dozens of witnesses and plane debris was found all over the place. Truther: …Well the WTC was a controlled demolition! Sane person: Why did both buildings collapse from the point of impact then? Pretty crazy the explosives were in the exact spot the plane hit and didn’t explode upon...

What drives these fringe crazed people on all sides of the aisle? Is it that feeling that something is just, not quite right? Is it the nagging question of why would someone continue to hide something in order to antagonize those that are trying to hold him accountable for the transparency that he promised? Or are you just tired of Obama getting away with it? A great conspiracy started during the 2008 Election Primary by a Hillary Clinton supporting Liberal lawyer from Philadelphia (Philip Berg) who saw that Obama was about to beat Hillary to the nomination and so he...

When the grassroots come together for events like Western CPAC, it usually brings together a great deal of energy as well as a wide idea of ideas, some better than others. One of the worst — and worst defended — ideas at WCPAC comes from Floyd Brown, whose ImpeachObamaCampaign.com is one of the sponsors for this event. In his speech this morning, Brown misstates history, draws ridiculous parallels to the Nazi era, and takes the wrong lessons from the Clinton impeachment, which at least had the virtue of coming from an actual impeachable offense.

The Western Conservative Political Action Conference has always been a smaller sibling to the annual Washington, D.C., CPAC. It’s gained some strength this year with the addition of speakers like Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-Minn.) and California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman. But it’s also attracted some notable “birthers.”

Today, the Washington Post published a long profile of Orly Taitz. This is the nut job that's leading the birther movement. Taitz helms a very leaky swift boat. We should be forgetting her right about now. Taitz was news or newsy this past summer. But why do we need a big story on her in October? Her power is only derived from free media attention. Did I mention that she's a nutjob? A quick Nexis check reveals that Taitz has been mentioned, chronicled, and/or written about more than 400 times before WaPo decided to profile her. Other newspapers wrote about...

The lapdog media's recent birther bashing week may have temporarily lessened the clamor for Obama's Birth Certificate, but the media doesn't understand the scorn of the American people. We don't aprreciate being treated like idiots. The media also doesn't realize that Obama's attempts to literally seal his entire life literally from the day he was born is what has fueled the all the research, theories and innuendos that have come out. That is what intelligent people are forced to do when seeking answers with incomplete information. I am not certain that Obama's actual birth certificate will prove he was or...
