Ibrahim had been driving outside Sirte when he was arrested by fighters from Misrata, according to Mustafa bin Dardef a field commander of the National Transitional Council (NTC). As Naum Rafael Mendez sat in the front seat of Juan Carlos Atenco Camacho's pickup on the night of Feb. 1, 2008, in the parking lot of Mendez' Boca Raton apartment, Mendez said he was in love with him, detectives say. The trial of 18 men accused of dressing up as women has started in a Sharia court in northern Nigeria. The men were arrested last year in a hotel room in the city of Bauchi.
