In February 2010, just about a full year after Barack Obama took office, a series of billboards mysteriously popped up along Interstate 35 in a town called Wyoming, Minn. They showed a photo of a waving President George W. Bush, flashing a cheeky grin, above copy that said, "Miss me yet?" The meme quickly caught on and soon plastered car rear bumpers, T-shirts and posters. But despite the viral spread of "Miss me yet?" merchandise, it turned out that the answer was decidedly: No. America, by and large, did not miss President Bush yet. He left office with a 33...

As has become typical in an election marked by its often unpleasant surprises, I awoke to a storm of outrage on Twitter on Wednesday morning. Newt Gingrich had told Fox’s Megyn Kelly that she was “fascinated with sex” and didn’t “care about public policy.” Mr. Gingrich unleashed this boorish attack after Ms. Kelly tried to pin him down on whether the many accusations of sexual assault against Donald J. Trump, and his own words on the matter, should disqualify him from the presidency. That Mr. Gingrich (with whom I once hosted a television show) thought the best way to deflect...

Donald Trump's remarkable — and explicable — command of the Republican primary on Super Tuesday is probably a confirmation that he will be the next Republican nominee for President. Deep breaths. Although he might not win with a majority of voters, and has certainly benefitted from some inadvertently helpful rules changes to the primary this year, as well as an overly crowded stage of candidates, we can't take away from Trump his total trouncing of one of the most gifted and promising fields of Republican candidates in decades. There will be much handwringing, soul searching and navel-gazing over the next...

If you need a minute to scrape your brain from the ceiling, go ahead, because this is quite stunning. This Friday, conservative commentator and Crossfire co-host S.E. Cupp is guest-hosting Piers Morgan Live, and her guest for the full hour is Glenn Beck.Full Story: S.E. Cupp and Glenn Beck Are Getting a Full Hour on CNN Friday

I like S.E. Cupp. I think she's smart, and funny and she's a great new face for Republicans or Libertarians or whatever camp she feels most comfortable in these days, I'm not sure. She embodies a funny and irreverent perspective that was groomed on "Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld" and it sometimes appeared on the awful "Spin Cycle" on MSNBC when her producers allowed it. But, make no mistake, CNN has hired her as one of the "conservative" voices for their re-launched "Crossfire" program so that she can assist in the larger media narrative that conservatives are too harsh, mean,...

Buckeye Firearms Association has endorsed Ohio Supreme Court Justice Robert R. Cupp for reelection to the Ohio Supreme Court in the November 6, 2012 general election. Ohio Supreme Court Justice Robert Cupp has earned the support of the Buckeye Firearms Association, and the gun owners of Ohio. The words 'don't tell me, show me' have particular meaning when considering the years of support, Ohio Supreme Court Justice, Robert R. Cupp have given our rights to keep and bear arms, as well as, our rights to carry a firearm for personal protection. In 1997, then State Senator, Justice Cupp worked to...

Update: Will S.E. Cupp sue?Update 2: Commentary from The Blaze here (pictured obscured).Update 3: Sandra Fluke, Planned Parenthood condemn.Update 4: Hustler defends.I’m not going to provide a link, but along with the picture Hustler added this disclaimer: No such picture of S.E. Cupp actually exists. This composite fantasy picture was altered from the original for our imagination, does not depict reality and is not to be taken seriously for any purpose. But just imagine for a second if Rush Limbaugh had gone this far. The Left would have gone nuclear.I don’t expect S. E. Cupp will be hearing from...

Back in 2008, I wrote a column called “The Four Stages of Conservative Female Abuse.” It’s a handy guide to the common types of attacks waged against unapologetic conservative women in the public square. You can read my related war on conservative posts here. The vile exploitation of S.E. Cupp’s image by Hustler magazine — see Twitchy for background/reaction and The Blaze for the original story– falls under category 2 and 4. Let’s review: The first stage of Conservative Female Abuse by the Left is infantilization. Right-wing women can’t possibly believe what they believe about the sanctity of life, self-defense,...

S.E. Cupp is a pretty chipper person. I’m not sure if that assessment helps her or not. I don’t know her that well. We went to lunch once. I’ve done a bunch of GBTV shows with her. That’s it. So, I don’t pretend to be the last word on all things Cupp. But I can say that she seems to be in a relentlessly good mood. She zips around. She quips. She sings. Still, you always know that there is that side of S.E. Cupp that loves to go to the shooting range. Maybe that’s where she empties the dark...

Maybe he’s trying to drum up attention for the launch of his Current TV show, but Keith Olbermann is embroiled in another nasty Twitter fight, this time with Glenn Beck protege´ SE Cupp. Responding to a tweet about Cupp’s Planned Parenthood remarks on The Joy Behar Show, Olbermann tweeted “On so many levels she’s a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does” When I first saw the tweet (forwarded to me by a colleague), I was certain that Olbermann had laid a clever trap, and that when Cupp’s supporters inevitably slammed Olbermann for wishing she’d been...

Keith Olbermann is not known for his candor. In a sense, it‘s what’s made him a popular figure on the left. And sure, he makes off-the-wall comments sometimes in order to evoke a response. But he may have gone too far today when he suggested that conservative commentator S.E. Cupp is a prime example of why the world needs Planned Parenthood (PP). Translation, she should have never been born. Immediately, the comment drew fire from those who said Olbermann, the former MSNBC host turned Current TV commentator, insinuated Cupp should have been aborted. And just as quickly, Olbermann started treading...

An atheist praising Christianity is like a man biting a dog: It's news. Atheist Sarah Elizabeth "S.E." Cupp's book Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity (Harper, 2010) is attracting second looks because it's a pro-Christianity book by an atheist. Cupp, 31, is a regular guest on FOX News shows and a much-read blogger and columnist: She was a classically trained ballet dancer, graduated from Cornell, and enjoys fishing, target shooting, and NASCAR races. Earlier this year you earned a master's degree in religious studies at New York University, but I gather you made it up as you...

In an interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network, S.E. Cupp, wearing a gargantuan necklace, says that the MSM has become a tool of oppression. "I don't think you have to be a Christian to want a more responsible press.....the state, liberal media and Hollywood are all seemingly working together to oppress the Christian 'right'". A recent Gallup poll has revealed that 78% of Americans identify with some form of Christian religion. That's a whole bunch of people to oppress! Kudos S.E.!

In George Orwell’s classic 1984, the state becomes God and we meet thought criminals like Ampleforth. His big mistake was to allow the “G” word to remain at the end of one of Kipling’s poems. For his sins he shall pay! Even sweet church bells are silenced. Likewise, in 2010, militant atheists are on the march, and according to S.E. Cupp It’s time to wake up and smell the bias.

She talks about online media and stuff. Does it really matter if this a January 18th clip? I think not. Minus the glasses and borderline politics, so forgive me in advance. She is nonetheless a media figger!

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- The U.S. Solidarity Committee for Supporting the Struggle of the National Democratic Front of south Korea and the South Korean People was inaugurated. John Paul Cupp, chairman of the U.S. Group for the Study of the Songun Policies, was elected chairman of the solidarity committee. In an inaugural declaration the solidarity committee said that neither the genuine political sovereignty of the south Korean people nor the reunification of Korea, the cherished desire of the whole Korean nation, can be achieved unless more than 40,000 U.S. troops are pulled back from south Korea and the U.S....
