<p>A Florida couple transporting a propane barbecue grill inside their SUV was injured Sunday after a woman lit a cigarette, sparking an explosion. The grill was turned on and the propane tank was open in the back of the red Kia Sorento when the couple left a barbecue at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, Orlando police Lt. Cindy Lane told the Orlando Sentinel After the explosion, the vehicle kept traveling until it crashed into a pole, according to Lane. Both people inside the SUV sustained burns, but their injuries are not life-threatening, FOX35 Orlando reported. Photos of the SUV posted by the Orlando Police Department show the vehicle's roof partially blown off. The photos posted by police also show the windshield blown out, and dents all over the vehicle.</p>

(Newser) – The last message sent by 14-year-old Madison Coe before she was electrocuted in the bathtub shows the tragic mistake that killed her. "When you use and (sic) extension cord so you can plug your phone in while you're in the bath," the teen from Lovington, NM, wrote to a friend, sending a picture of the cord connection on top of a towel. A New Zealand woman has died on the Caribbean territory of Sint Maarten after the blast from a powerful jet engine knocked her to the ground. The incident happened at the famous Princess Juliana International Airport, which is just metres from the beach. Beachgoers can walk up to the airport fence as planes take off. Police said the 57-year-old woman had been holding on to the fence before the force of the jet engines threw her backwards, causing serious injury.

A 22-year-old Halstad man is dead after being shot and killed in a YouTube stunt gone wrong. According to CBS affiliate ValleyNewsLive, Pedro Ruiz was killed when he instructed his pregnant girlfriend to shoot a .50 cal handgun at a book he was holding, thinking the book would stop the bullet. Police say a Rhode Island man who streamed himself on Facebook Live driving 114 mph and weaving in and out of traffic was critically injured when he crashed into a garbage truck and a concrete barrier. State police say 20-year-old Onasi Olio-Rojas, of Pawtucket, lost control Wednesday on U.S. Route 6 in Providence.
