Antifascists, according to their own doctrine, fight fascism. Sounds simple enough. Granted, members of the loosely organized Antifa movement define “fascism” vaguely — to include not just Nazis and neo-Nazis, but also white supremacists, white nationalists and the broader population of racists. As for the fighting, Antifa takes that part of the doctrine literally. Claiming that even a small public gathering of fascists is a threat to freedom, the movement condones physical violence against them. Its anonymous, black-clad members routinely crash far-right demonstrations to brawl. So — you might expect that when Antifa can’t find any fascists, it has nothing...

The mainstream fake-news media was as silent as a mouse after Antifa thugs showed up in full gear, including anger, at the 1 year anniversary of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA, last Saturday, and did whet they’re known to do best: they attacked innocent people, and harassed journalists, including an NBC news crew. Moreover, they beat up a police officer for absolutely no reason and destroyed property. Even if zero members of the so called “far right” attended the rally in Charlottesville, approximately 200 Antifa operatives showed up. In good leftist domestic terrorist tradition, the mainstream media...

Law enforcement and city officials are preparing for protesters and counter-protesters to descend on Washington, DC, this weekend. According to the shutitdowndc.org website, the Antifa side of the equation has purposes far beyond responding to the Unite the Right 2 demonstration set to take place on the Charlottesville, Va. rally anniversary on Sunday at Lafayette Park across from the White House. The National Park Service has issued a permit to Jason Kessler for his Unite the Right 2 rally from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the park and its website has a list of instructions, including warning people not to...

"We have groups clearly at odds with each other," Chairman Jack Evans said. "We'd like to keep the groups separate. We don't want incidents on Metro." "Unite the Right" demonstrators plan to use Metro from the Vienna, Virginia, station to Foggy Bottom in D.C. Police and Metro are making plans to avoid a deadly confrontation like the one at the Charlottesville, Virginia, rally last year. "Maybe put all of one group on a train or a certain car on a train," Evans said. "We're trying to see how can we keep the groups separate so we don't have any incidents...

Last Updated May 29, 2016 4:28 PM EDT Donald Trump asserted that more than half a million people attempted to attend his speech to the Rolling Thunder bikers DC Sunday. "We have the biggest rallies by far, far bigger than Bernie Sanders,'" he told a crowd in front of the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall. "Far bigger. I mean, look at today. They say you have 600,000 people here trying to get in." "That's not gonna happen," he added. "But they say you have 600,000 people." A crowd count wasn't immediately available, but the space in front of the...

A close look at the Saturday "One Nation" rally in Washington reveals something quite telling. It was a major gathering of the "progressive" left, highly billed, vigorously promoted. And it happened to include -- in fact, it warmly accepted -- the endorsement of Communist Party USA. Expectedly, a bunch of the rally's endorsers carried the word "progress" or "progressive" in their title, from People’s Organization for Progress to Progressive Democrats of America. More still unhesitatingly describe themselves as progressive, from racial eugenicist Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood to Norman Lear's heirs at People for the American Way, plus the usual suspects...

On Thursday evening my husband and I made the decision to drive to Washington D.C. to be part of the "Kill the Bill" protest on the Capitol lawn. We had been a part of the 9-12 DC Tea Party, having been part of the Tea Party movement since it's beginning, and have a vested interest in making sure this monstrosity doesn't pass (it is pending as I type this). We drove to DC Friday evening and drove back Saturday, not able to stay for the entire event because of church responsibilities Sunday morning, but we were thrilled to be a part...

Tens of thousands of people from across the country made a "House call" on the west side of the Capitol yesterday. These Americans traveled to Washington to register their objections to the mammoth government health care bill that Democrats are rushing through Congress. The size and spirit of the rally were a testament to the explosion in grass-roots activism opposed to the expansion of government under President Obama's and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's watch. The silent majority is silent no longer.

Iran Unmasked by: Sarah Carlsruh, October 01, 2009 Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke in front of the United Nations General Assembly on September 21st, a fact that brought protestors together in cities across the United States. Just a few days later, on September 25th, President Barack Obama announced at the G-20 summit that Iran has a second uranium-enrichment facility under construction, once again violating the non-proliferation agreements. When on September 21st the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) hosted the D.C. rally to protest Ahmadinejad’s anti-Semitic speech to the U.N., members of the JCRC said they promote the passing of the...

Iran Exposed by: Allie Winegar Duzett, October 01, 2009 While activists in New York City got attention for opposing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to the United Nations last week, the New York City protesters were not the only ones to make their voices heard. Another protest in Washington, D.C., also featured those concerned about Iran. Among the protesters at the event were 65 school children from Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community High School. They had driven over an hour to get to the event. Principal and Rabbi Aaron Frank said that they were there to “stand up against Ahmadinejad’s intolerant human rights...

As we all know, the Obama controlled media has gone above and beyond the call of duty to downplay the 912 Project Tea Party in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. It’s been completely laughable, to say the least. We wrote about this earlier, and supplied plenty of photos and video. But it seems the Obama controlled media has its orders to cover things up, and they are doing their very best not to disappoint their Dear Leader. All of the evidence points to numbers between 1.5 and 2 million attendees at the event. There are overhead crowd shots that clearly demonstrate...

Being on the Tricare military healthcare, I know firsthand what health care rationing is. I know how much the government uses mid-level providers to fill physician positions. I know they will deny coverage for certain treatments and medications when they are needed but considered too costly. I have seen the lines for prescription medicine taking hours to fill a prescription that cannot be filled over the phone. I feel I have a different perspective on the HR 3200 bill and I can offer a different insight on the future of health care if this bill passes. This is why I...

Yesterday I wrote that much of mainstream media was ignoring the fact that later in the day a massive march, or rally if you prefer, was planned in our nation’s capitol and discussed bias in the media (both liberal and conservative bias). Today, I want to look at the aftermath of that rally, who showed up, what the mainstream media had to say about it all and how the spin is developing from D.C. The new "spin" will be really scary. First, let’s look at how many showed up. “Media” estimates range from 60,000 to 500,000 to around 2 million...

Hi! I am looking for the photo that shows the sign behind the speakers at the DC Rally yesterday that said, "9-II Was An Inside Job." The sign is notable not only for its prominence but because they stupidly used "II" instead of "11". I can't seem to find that sign phto in the MSM since they probably want to cover up for the loons. Please post on this thread any and all photos of that sign at the DC rally. I need to use it for my blog but I think such photos posted here also illustrate what loons...

Today, a New York Times headline reads Rally Near White House Protests Violence in Mideast yet there is a lot they did not tell and show about the protests in DC and San Francisco that perhaps you ought to know. The Times reported: Thousands of people rallied near the White House on Saturday to protest what they described as Israeli aggression in Lebanon and the United States’ unwavering support for Israel. The diverse crowd included many Arab-Americans and Muslims, college students and families, as well as veterans of prior demonstrations against the war in Iraq. And they provided this photo of...

The Left are all using D.C. Police chief Charles Ramsey to confirm their claim of a huge turn-out for the 24 September 2005 Anti-War rally held in Washington. Most accounts say that the Chief "...did not dispute..." the claim of 100,000 people or more after viewing the protestor's along their marching route. What the Chief said was actually quite different: From the Seattle Times Protest organizers estimated 300,000 people participated, triple their original target. District of Columbia Police Chief Charles Ramsey, who walked the march route, said the protesters achieved their goal of 100,000 and probably exceeded it. Asked if...

Welcome! My name is Larry Bailey, and I am a retired Navy SEAL Captain. I was in Vietnam in 1967 and participated in the Dominican Republic invasion in 1965. I also commanded the SEAL school in Coronado, CA. I am the President of an organization named Vietnam Vets for the Truth, LLC. Please note the similarity in names with a group much in the news, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth; I wish to emphasize that we are completely different and separate groups that were organized independent of one another. We do, however, support them completely. We are an incorporated 527...

The Second Amendment Sisters, some of whom here may remember were born on Free Republic, held their second national rally to counter the Million Mom March in Washington, D.C. today. While both gatherings had fewer participants than expected, the turnout for the anti-gun MMMs had to be disappointing.Four years ago, with a White House send off by President and Mr. Clinton, the MMMs claimed 750,000 people attended their Mothers Day rally in D.C. A year later, a few hundred returned to the nation's capital for the MMMs. This year, only 2,000 people made the Mothers Day trek to call for more...
