Gov. Kathy Hochul insisted Wednesday that everyone else failed Buffalo’s tragic mom-of-three Keaira Bennefield — and not her or New York’s no-cash-bail laws. The Democrat deflected blame from herself and instead pointed the finger at “the system” and “judges and “prosecutors” after Keaira was executed less than 24 hours after her estranged husband was sprung from jail on no bail over a caught-on-camera beatdown. “The system absolutely failed her,” Hochul said at a Westchester rally when asked by The Post to respond to the victim’s distraught mom, who has blamed the governor for the barbaric murder.

Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has declassified the list of former Obama administration officials who were allegedly involved in the “unmasking” of then-incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn. ABC News first reported the news but initially said in the title that Grenell was in the process of trying to declassify the list of Obama officials. A source with knowledge of the matter told The Daily Wire that the list has already been declassified and now it’s on Attorney General William Barr to release the list. ABC News appeared to later update their report, which stated: Grenell, who remains...

You understand why San Fran Nan wonÂ’t call the House back in session, right? ItÂ’s because she and Chuck Schumer are trying to shame Mitch McConnell into keeping the Senate shut down. Why? Well, itÂ’s obvious: They want to keep the Senate shut down in order to prevent the confirmation of President TrumpÂ’s judicial nominees and other key nominees like John Ratcliffe, who is up to become the Director of National Intelligence. Luckily, McConnell is having none of it, and called the Senate back into session this week with his main goal to specifically get those nominees moving again. He...

The real reason for Ric Grenell’s appointment as Acting DNI becomes clear. – As Democrats and their corrupt media toadies were scrambling to find some way, any way, to kill off the surging Bernie Sanders campaign, Acting DNI Ric Grenell was moving quickly behind the scenes to finally, at long last identify and rid the Trump Administration of all the Deep State snakes in the Intelligence Community. Republican Dino Rossi yesterday inched further ahead of Democratic Attorney General Christine Gregoire after 24 of the state's 39 counties finished recounting ballots in Washington's closest-ever race for governor. The statewide recount continues today and is expected to wrap up tomorrow. But both sides have hinted they might ask for another recount, possibly a hand count that could take up to two weeks to complete. The recount is likely to hinge on the outcome of 710 so-called enhanced ballots in Democratic-leaning King County, where election workers are trying to determine the intent of voters who mismarked their ballots. Meanwhile, the...
  • Nation and Assassination in the Middle East

Until modern times, there existed no form of legitimacy in the Middle East outside of Islam. Rulers ruled in the name of God; assassins struck them down in the name of God. The assassinations of the early caliphs and the struggle between the Sunni rulers and the Assassins in the Middle Ages took precisely this form: each side claimed to act in accord with divine will, revealed in divine texts. Religion played a crucial role in the rationale of assassination, but it also played a crucial role in the rationale of government, law, and warfare—indeed, of everything. This invocation of...
