A year ago Donald Trump suggested the media is the enemy of the people. Check out this new tweet from The Hill: Really? Here's a piece from the article: Rudy Giuliani said late Wednesday that men like senior presidential adviser Jared Kushner are “disposable,” but it would cross the line for the special prosecutor to go after first daughter Ivanka Trump. Scroll down a little more and you see what Giuliani did actually say: “Jared is a fine man, you know that,” Giuliani, who joined President Trump's legal team last month, said on Fox News. “Men are disposable. But a fine woman like Ivanka?...

A Quinnipiac poll released this week reveals that a majority of Republican voters believe the media is “the enemy of the people.” In a survey of 1,193 registered voters conducted between April 20 and April 24, 51 percent of Republicans said they saw the media as an enemy, while only 37 percent of Republicans said they thought that the media was “an important part of democracy.” Overall, 66 percent of American voters said media is an “important part of democracy,” while 22 percent said they consider it to be an “enemy of the people.”

Fact checks by the media ought to be factual. The New York Times failed to do this with an error-filled piece that incorrectly claims President Trump “peppered his remarks with inaccurate facts about mass shootings and gun policy” Wednesday in a meeting with members of Congress.

Comparisons between Ivanka Trump, Kim Jong Un’s sister are sickening – Media can’t decide which way to lean Ivanka Trump is in South Korea for the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games and, inevitably, she is being compared to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, who attended the opening ceremonies. The disgusting fawning over Kim Yo Jong at the start of the Olympics exposed a truth about much of America’s mainstream media: any enemy of President Trump will be showered in praise. It didn’t matter than Kim Jong Un is a brutal despot who is...

Deadline: White House host Nicolle Wallace has proven time and again to be one of MSNBC’s most outspoken Trump critics. But she outdid herself on Monday when she spent nearly the full hour mocking the President and trash talking Republicans, taking only the occasional break to report the news. The bloodbath began when Wallace mentioned the President’s proclivity for aggressive weekend Tweets. She characterized Trump’s behavior as “this releasing of pressure,” wherein he “rages away at Twitter in his jammies.” Continuing with her imaginative illustration, she inquired:

  • Sen. Lankford Corrects Chuck Todd: Handguns Far More Popular for Crime Than AR-15s

During a February 18 appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) told Chuck Todd that handguns are used for crime far more often than AR-15s. Lankford’s statement followed Todd’s focus on how an 18-year-old can buy an AR-15 in Florida, but must be 21 in order to buy a handgun. During the live broadcast, Lankford responded, “An AR-15 is a rifle, a handgun is obviously a handgun…[and] there are three, four, five times as many crimes committed with a handgun than there are with a rifle.” He added, “When you look at the statistics, many, many, many,...

Let's suppose for a minute that Hillary Clinton and all her fellow Resisters, along with all their allies in the Deep State, had accepted the results of the 2016 election, as has been the tradition and expectation. Remember Hillary's sneering question to Donald at the debates – whether he would accept the election results? At that time, nobody thought Hillary would be the one to throw the temper tantrum when she lost, much less organize a resistance movement. Suppose that, instead of anger and outrage over losing the election and launching what is turning out to be a suicidal frontal...
  • Robert Mueller just made it impossible for Trump to call the special counsel probe a 'total hoax'

(CNN)On Friday afternoon, the Justice Department announced that special counsel Robert Mueller had indicted 13 Russian nationals for their roles in attempted meddling in the 2016 election. Most of these people do not live in the United States, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Russia won't be extraditing them any time soon. But that's not the point. The point is this: The indictments of a baker's dozen of Russians gives us a very clear window into not only the depth and breadth of the Mueller investigation, but also makes crystal clear what the Russians wanted in the 2016 election...

RUSH: I had this yesterday and it got aced out by other things. But there was a popular news item yesterday that this was like the 18th school shooting in whatever period of time. And it was totally bogus. It was entirely bogus! It was entirely untrue. This year alone! It was 18 school shootings in this year alone. Of all places, The Washington Post came along and debunked it. But it doesn’t matter. The Drive-Bys will not abandon this. Any gun statistic that they think advances their radical cause, they will use, stick with it, lie about it. They...

The day after a shooter killed 17 people at a Florida high school, President Donald Trump offered comforting words - for gun owners. "We are committed to working with state and local leaders to help secure our schools and tackle the difficult issue of mental health," Trump said in brief remarks at the White House. "It is not enough to simply take actions that make us feel like we are making a difference. We must actually make that difference." Translation: Your guns are safe. With Republicans in control of both chambers of Congress - and Democrats holding enough seats to...

The latest mass shooting, which claimed 17 lives at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, was a horrible tragedy. But that's no excuse for the flurry of stories parroting a gun control advocacy group's false claims about school shootings. In the immediate wake of the shooting, headlines starting appearing at major news sites: "There have already been 18 school shootings in the US this year" — ABC News "18 school shootings in 45 days — Florida massacre is one of many tragedies in 2018"—CNBC "18 school shootings in US in 2018"— AFP "U.S. averages a school shooting every 2.5...

The mainstream media’s glorification of totalitarian hellholes won’t strike anyone familiar with 20th century history as new, but this weekend’s coverage of North Korea’s regime at the Olympics would make even former New York Times journalist Walter Duranty blush. As the 2018 Olympics Winter Games began in South Korea, reporters from various networks clapped like seals at North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un’s pathetic attempt at charming journalists into accepting his regime as legitimate, choosing to woo them over with synchronized cheer squads and having his sister Kim Yo Jong leer at Vice President Mike Pence.

(CNN) - The immediate result of President Donald Trump's decision to block the release of a Democratic memo on the Russia investigation is to expose him to charges of hypocrisy. But the deeper question -- one that has huge implications for the fate of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation -- is whether Trump is using his power to thwart any attempt by Congress to hold him accountable. Trump on Friday declined to release the Democratic rebuttal of a Republican memo he inaccurately claimed "totally vindicates" him in the Russia probe, warning that the new document compromised intelligence sources and methods....

Most associate the term "radicalized" with ISIS.  But radical movements aren't limited to a religion.  A jihad is a crusade for a principle or belief involving struggle" and "resistance."  The Washington establishment, the Deep State, and special interests have launched their own jihad, built on a battle cry to "resist."   Today, calls to "resist!" echo through Congress as half of the House and Senate stage a mutiny against a duly elected president. "Resist!" is the call to arms from Democrat leaders (Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama) and radical activist groups (Black Lives Matter, Antifa).   More than 50 organizations have formed to "resist!"...

The Debrief: An occasional series offering a reporter’s insights For a president who often sees himself as standing tall against powerful forces that only want him to fail, things were looking up. The tax cuts were selling well, he got credit for a pretty good State of the Union address, employment numbers were good, and his approval rating was improving. Any other president would have seen this as a week to claim some credit (Congress passed a spending bill, with bipartisan support), do some presidential reassuring (the markets sure could have used some calming words), maybe take the high road and...

It’s not news mainstream media lined up en masse behind Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential campaign, but it is worth noting how many in the media were willing to compromise their ability to report fairly on the election by connecting themselves to her campaign. At least 65 prominent mainstream media personalities were participating in dinners, cocktail receptions and other functions, according to an analysis of material exposed by Wikileaks. The events were held ostensibly to make them feel like insiders to the campaign and promoters of its objectives. In what was billed as an off-the-record meeting for drinks with...

Oh, we’re back to Nazi references again. Last week, NPR’s Maria Hinojosa compared federal law enforcement officers to the Gestapo because they were doing their jobs. Hinojosa was on MSNBC with Ali Velshi to comment on President Trump “s**thole countries” remark that sent left wing America into full-blown meltdown mode last week. It became another angle to call Trump a racist. Even though one can argue quite convincingly that Somalia, one of the countries Trump listed in his executive order on immigration (aka the “Muslim ban”), is indeed a hellhole. Until Americans, especially liberals go to vacation in Somalia, South...
