China hopes to build a modern air force that is so powerful and advanced it can essentially “defeat” the U.S. Air Force “without actually fighting,” according to a new report. A study by the Project Air Force team at the Rand Corporation concludes that the objective of the Chinese air force is to become so powerful that it could crush U.S. air power if they ever had to fight. The study says that the Chinese could accomplish it by copying U.S. military capabilities and through self-innovation.

Midterms: You’ve heard it for a year or more now as campaigning for today’s midterm elections began last fall: The party in power always loses seats during the midterm elections. But will that happen today? When all is said and done, will Republicans suffer the same fate as Democrats did in 2010 and 2014? Hacking Back: Military hackers in the United States have been given the green light to launch attacks against Russian cyber systems if U.S. intelligence detects any attempts by Moscow to meddle in the midterm elections on Tuesday. Yahoo News reports that the intelligence community and the Pentagon have quietly agreed upon outlines of a cyber offensive the U.S. would launch if Russian election interference is found, according to senior officials who are aware of the plan. If Russian electronic meddling is detected, American cyber warriors would gain access to Russian cyber systems very quickly.

Unlawful: James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has exposed campaign workers for U.S. Representative and Senate candidate Robert “Beto” O’Rourke appearing to engage in illegally funneling campaign resources to help Honduran migrants traveling in a caravan heading towards the U.S. O’Rourke staffers Dominic Chacon and AnaPaula Themann admit to facilitating transportation to airports and bus stations. Chacon: “The Hondurans, yeah… I’m going to go get some food right now, like just some stuff to drop off…” Themann: “How did they get through?” Chacon: “Well I think they accepted them as like asylum-seekers… So, I’m going to get some groceries and some blankets…”

Reversal: Once upon a time, Democrats could count on nearly universal support from black voters. But then something happened: Donald Trump. A new survey from Rasmussen Reports less than a week before crucial midterm elections on Nov. 6 show black support for POTUS at an all-time high for any Republican president at 25 percent.
