It’s been said that when we talk to God, we’re ‘praying’, but when he talks to us, we’re crazy. Personally, I think it’s far crazier for us to pray without expecting God to speak back. Since the beginning of time, God has been a communicating being. When we choose to follow him, God gives us the Holy Spirit who speaks to us wherever we are. The challenge is learning to discern God’s voice above the others we hear. Although he longs to reveal himself in a personal way, human frailty means we can get it wrong. The good news is...

Barren women dominate the biblical narrative, and by no means are these women perfect. Sarai, Abraham’s wife, displayed unbelief, impatience, anger, and disrespect after waiting a lifetime for children. Rebekah, the wife of Isaac, waited twenty years to have a son. Leah and Rachel, sisters, married to Jacob, spent years in competition and felt deep envy towards one another. Hannah, the wife of Elkanah, was taunted for years by Peninnah and experienced depression. Elizabeth, wife of Zachariah, and Samson’s mother, wife to Manoah, both stood firm in their faith even when their husbands doubted God’s plans. The Shunammite woman begged...

Most of us are used to seeing well-known Evangelicals who live together outside of marriage celebrated in the news media—without any suggestion of a contradiction between their claims to be Bible-believing Christians and their choice to cohabit. Recent examples include top-rated Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and A-list Hollywood actor Chris Pratt. Pratt and Mahomes are not anomalies; living together in sexual union outside of marriage is now accepted by most Evangelicals. Among those under 45, most have practiced cohabitation, plan to live together in the future, or are open to the possibility. A Pew Research Center study in...

In this 2024 year, who knows what to expect in our EXPONENTIAL deteriorating and lawless day, but in it all, we know WHO we are expecting and looking for with great joy (John 14:3, 1 Thes. 4:13-18, 1 John 3:1-4))! Beloved, daily bombardments from this demonic world seek to rattle and destroy the faith of the men and women of Almighty God (John 16:33; Eph. 6:10-12, 1 Peter 5:8). It is so easy to look inwardly and subjectively and see ourselves as poor wretched victims. It is sad to say that many blood brought children of Almighty God in Christ...

Faith sees, trusts, and is FULLY persuaded by the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS INTEGRITY of Almighty God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! The eyes of faith set in motion the spiritual ABSOLUTES and TRUTHS of Almighty God that transform our hearts, souls, and minds and move demonic strongholds and powers that dominate and control this lost and fallen world (Heb. 11). Faith sees, trusts, and is FULLY persuaded by the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS INTEGRITY of Almighty God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Dear friend, have faith in Almighty God in ALL things! For if we do, we...

Scottie Scheffler dedicated his second Masters win in three years to God, declaring that “victory was secure on the cross” as he secured the victory at Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday. "I was sitting around with my buddies this morning, I was a bit overwhelmed," the 27-year-old said Sunday after becoming the 10th golfer in history to win two green jackets in three years. "I told them, 'I wish I didn't want to win as badly as did I or as badly as I do.' I think it would make the mornings easier. I love winning. I hate losing....

Thousands of Israelis sought to read Psalms during tense hours, making it one of the most common Hebrew phrases entered into the search engine overnight; why is it customary to specifically turn to Psalms in times of trouble?

Thousands of attendees, mainly consisting of students, gathered at Stegeman Coliseum on April 3, 2024 for Unite Georgia, a free conference hosted by the organization Unite US, to hear speakers discuss current issues facing Gen Z and enjoy music from the band Lindy and the Circuit Riders, all while fulfilling the organization’s mission: to unite college students in the name of Jesus. Unite US began when founder Tonya Prewett, retired educator, began a prayer group at Auburn University. The group grew from five girls to 200 students. In response to that growth, Prewett planned an event within six weeks with...

State Senator Faith Winter arrived late and drunk to a pubic meeting .. She slurred her words and scrolled on her phone at the halfway-house hearing.. ... A Democratic Colorado State Senator announced she is getting substance abuse treatment after she arrived late to a public hearing late, intoxicated, slurred her words and scrolled on her phone while community members talked. The chaplains say the Department of Defense continues to defy a 2023 law rescinding its Covid vaccine mandate. A healthy little Dutch girl without a proper name died 52 years ago. Scientists keep her kidney’s cells multiplying in a process similar to cancer. They perform increasing numbers of experiments on derivatives of this baby girl’s kidney cells to develop technologies that include taste-testing experiments for PepsiCo. Her vivisection forms “the backbone of the global gene therapy market.” Scientists call the baby girl HEK 293. HEK stands for “human embryonic kidney,” and 293 means she was the 293rd experiment in a...

Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Republicans are using faith as a weapon to beat down transgender people. Host Dana Bash said, “Republicans are attacking President Biden for recognizing today as Transgender Day of Visibility. I want to be very clear that this day, this Transgender Day of Visibility is always on March 31st has been since 2009. This president has marked at every year since he’s been in the White House the date of Easter changes year to year. I don’t need to tell you that the House Speaker called Biden’s announcement...

“If you think you’re going to vote your way out of this you’re wrong.” “They’ll just steal it again.” Folks, I’m about to blow a gasket with these types. Many of these people think they are—-or portray themselves as—-MAGA or “conservatives.” There is nothing whatsoever conservative or MAGA about this worldview. Quite the contrary, if I was a DemoKKKrat I would energetically promote this kind of thinking to suppress MAGA and conservative turnout. It is simply a wrong worldview in several ways.

Aconcerted effort is underway among leftist and self-styled progressive Christians to take faithful believers out of the game culturally and politically. Politico came out swinging on Tuesday with the tired “Christian nationalist” slur in an article about a second Donald Trump term. It intended to shame conservatives who “believe that the country was founded as a Christian nation and that Christian values should be prioritized throughout government and public life” — in other words, mainstream Christians. The Politico article closely followed last week’s release of the Rob Reiner-backed “God and Country” documentary, which also uses the “Christian nationalist” moniker and...

So many times we all wish we had a gift to peer into the future. All men desire that gift so they can live their life accordingly. We say that we would then be able to avoid the pitfalls, and be more prepared when we do catch up to our future. We claim this gift would help us make the right choices now. Truth is, if GOD gave us a gift to see the future outright, then we would inevitably take things into our own hands instead of calling upon Him to help guide us. If we knew the...

Interesting analysis this morning from Axios in a “Deep Dive: Inside the Mind of Gen Z.” The piece pulls together a bunch of data points and quotes from experts to provide a snapshot of a generation that, at least in my humble opinion, is in deep trouble. Here’s the key data from the Axios analysis: “By the numbers: Gen Z (defined as people roughly ages 12 to 27) reports the poorest mental health of any generation, according to a Gallup and Walton Family Foundation report.“Just 44% of Gen Zers say they feel prepared for the future. “The big picture: They dodged...
