So, about a week or so ago, Patrick Quinn felt trapped. He was sitting on the couch, afraid to move -- lest he woke up Maxton, his 3-week-old son who was sound asleep on his lap. Then he spotted a bowl of Cheerios by the couch. His older son had left it there because he never puts anything away. Hmm, thought Quinn, let's see if I can get one to balance on Maxton's nose. It worked. Hmm, let me see if I can get two.
  • Why do annoying #NeverTrump Freepers still posting articles around the clock?

I see some NeverTrump Freepers are back, posting articles almost like clockwork. Is this some paid trolling going on? Is it some psych-op for the GOPe Uniparty? Using FR as a place to foment conflict/hone the Establishment's arguments against Trump and real conservatives and/or Christians? No one has the time to be posting as many articles in a day these people are posting without getting paid. Sorry. I think it's an "op" against FR.

The family also said that Norma's cancer symptoms have lessened and she is in no pain or discomfort during her travels.

Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for publishing my column. I'm a big fan of this holiday because few things are more American than boozing up and chowing down 'til your ankles swell and your corduroys pop. In between, you get to watch some football and share your thoughts on the trainwreck presidency of Barack Hussein Obama (hint hint). I consider myself a knowledgable debater because I read up on the blogs and I'm typically one of the most "liked" commenters on the articles. The reason I'm writing this is because my brother's dumb kid likes to get chatty with me. I've...

Not only are cars becoming more safe, feature-rich and efficient, but engines have never had more output, whether it’s an econobox Hyundai Sonata churning out a torque curve that would literally twist the swiss-cheese frame of a Mk. I Golf GTI, or the more insane Dodge Charger Hellcat, with its ticket-to-the-pearly-gates 707 HP supercharged V8. *** However, as with anything in the known universe, there’s no such thing as a free lunch, no matter what ‘80s John Travolta will tell you. With legislation putting forth mandates for increased complexity in cars over the last three decades, automobiles have become, on...

Fox News host Megyn Kelly read through a specific list of debate demands that most Republican presidential candidates signed as a result of the CNBC debate debacle, and wondered what else they wanted — maybe a foot massage? Kelly read through some of the demands, which included a 67 degree room temperature and approval of on-screen graphics, with Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt. “Can you imagine having to submit our graphics for approval to the candidates?” she asked. “Good luck with that.” Stirewalt noted that some “candidates started peeling off” on signing the demand letter, “because they have...

Their teacher, Steve Schertz, said that during the contest, teams of five high-schoolers have to take apart an engine and put it back together while judges time them. The fastest team wins, though each team is penalized certain numbers of seconds if members drop a part on the floor, start tightening something with a wrench before starting it by hand (which can cause engine damage) or commits other mistakes.

The White House confirmed that President Obama was preparing a series of executive actions on gun control to match his recent passion on the issue after the latest mass shooting in Oregon. “It’s a high priority and will continue to be until we start to see more progress on this issue in this town,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters today at the press briefing. Earnest said he would “quibble” with anyone who criticized the president for not voicing any specific gun control proposals during his press conference, asserting that the White House was working behind the scenes...

For only the second time in history since it was formally defined, Pope Francis has invoked papal infallibility in order to restate the Catholic Church's two most ancient, unchanging, and distinctive doctrines: evolution and a non-literal interpretation of Genesis (which was totally written by stone age savages, by the way). Invoking the apparations of Our Lady Queen of Higher Criticism, the Pope stated: While the ordinary magisterium from the very day of the Church's founding 1,981 years ago this past April has been most clear and constant, nevertheless we are most grieved at the dissemination of the "Errors of Alabama,"...

NEW YORK — No holiday screams pop culture controversy quite like Halloween. So what's the costume flap of the year? It might just be Ebola, as in Ebola zombies, bloody Ebola patients and faux protective gear. Twitter and other social media were abuzz leading into the holiday with talk of hazmat suits and respirators. Too soon? How about just no, said Philadelphia physician's assistant Maria McKenna. One of her own, a Dallas nurse who at 26 is exactly her age, was diagnosed with the virus in the United States after she had helped care for a Liberian man who died...
