Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is building a 100,000-square-foot indoor entertainment complex near the booming intersection of Interstate 10 and Loop 1604 — complete with high-speed go-carts, laser tag, arcade games, virtual reality attractions and a full-service bar. The Georgia-based entertainment company hopes to open next summer near The Rim, managing partner Eddie Hamann said in a phone interview. “When they walk in, there’s something for everyone of all ages to do and everyone of all ages to eat,” Hamann said.

Four police cars, lights on and sirens blaring, chased a man in a go-cart at top speeds of 20 mph through downtown St. Paul on Tuesday evening. Police finally boxed him into a parking lot, chased him around some more and then shocked him twice with a stun gun before his go-cart came to a stop.
