Operatives linked to Iran tried to kill foreign diplomats, including Israelis and Americans, in at least seven countries over 13 months, the Washington Post reported. New evidence uncovered by investigators in four countries linked the assassination attempts to either Iran-backed Hezbollah militants or operatives based inside Iran, the Post reported Monday, citing U.S. and Middle Eastern security officials. The officials reportedly said that the assassination attempts stopped in early spring, when Iran began to take a softer tone with the West. Shortly after, Iranian officials formally accepted a proposal to resume negotiations with six world powers on proposals to limit...

The CIA claims that it never saw the storm coming, but Canadian intelligence sure did. Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird landed in Vladivostok, Russia, earlier this month for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit and had barely stepped off the plane when he announced that Canada would be pulling its diplomats out of Iran and closing its embassy while kicking all Iranian diplomats out of Canada. At the time, some thought that maybe the minister had a few too many mini vodkas on the ride over. Several days later, when protests and embassy attacks erupted in Islamic nations, and the...

The video was presented during a debriefing by Brigadier General Hartzi Halevi, Commander of the 91st Division (Galilee Formation), which is responsible for the Lebanese border sector. Let's go to the videotape.

There they go again. The story is so old already. Arab militia or Arab army or Arab terrorist attacks non-Arab. Or was that Muslim fanatic attacks non-Muslim? This time, it's happening in Sudan. While we're sitting and talking, probably a few hundred more black Africans in Sudan have starved to death, or been brutally killed, raped, enslaved, or simply pushed off their land by 7th century Arab imperialist invaders, or more rightly "Arab settlers". Oh yes, that's right. "Arab settlers". Like the ones Saddam Hussein brought into Kurdistan - i.e., the Kurdish areas of northern Iraq - in the 1970s...

An Iranian defector, Hamid Reza Zakeri, told German police that Iran was involved in the September 11th attacks, the Chicago Tribune reported. Zakeri, 28, was providing testimony in the trial of accused plotter Abdel-Ghani Mzoudi, a Moroccan student who lived in Hamburg and was friends with three of the four suicide pilots. According to the defector, the attacks were an al-Qaida/Iranian joint venture, for which ultimate responsibility lay with a man named Saif al-Adel, a Hizbullah official in Iran. The testimony was greeted with pronounced skepticism by some German intelligence officials, saying that it "looks a little bit constructed."...

Business Insider bears the alarming news that the Iran-supported terrorist group Hezbollah is busy establishing a presence in Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America: Islamic terrorist groups are setting up shop in Mexico and forming alarming ties with the country's brutal drug cartels, according to a 2010 internal memo from the Tucson Police Department. The memo (pdf file) referred to here was not intended for public consumption, and came to light only after the hacker group LulzSec hacked into Arizona Department of Public Safety computers. Well that's unnerving, especially given the fact that, according to the Violence Policy Center (VPC),...

Hizbullah members and allied parties carried out a two-hour exercise early on Tuesday morning at 12 strategic points in Beirut, meant to show a potential first response to the commission findings surrounding the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri, Kuwaiti daily Al-Rai reported on Wednesday. Members of the Hizbullah and Amal Shi’ite movements participated in the drill, and were reportedly unarmed and wearing black shirts. Lebanese security officials confirmed the gatherings, which dispersed by late morning and appeared to be a show of force in the hours after a long-awaited indictment was submitted on Monday to the International...

The UN-backed Special Tribunal for Lebanon says its prosecutor has issued indictments for the 2005 murder of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. The names of the accused remain confidential for now, but are widely believed to include members of the armed Shia group Hezbollah. A pre-trial judge now decides whether to issue warrants. Last week, Hezbollah and its allies brought down Lebanon's government in a dispute over the tribunal. The group, which denies any role in the killing, has dismissed the tribunal as a US and Israeli plot that is designed to discredit it. It has demanded that Lebanon cease...

The pigheaded refusal to acknowledge that sometimes the ends justify the means reflects Europe's moral impoverishment. Dahu Khalfan Tamim now has a world-class reputation for detective work. The head of the Dubai police swiftly determined that Hamas’s Mahmoud Mabhouh did not die of natural causes at the five-star Bustan Rotana Hotel on Jan. 20. He was assassinated. Let’s for the sake of argument grant that Israel did away with Mabhouh; that he was not killed by Iran or over some intra-Palestinian dispute, and that clues pointing to Israeli culpability are genuine. Mabhouh certainly deserved to be assassinated by Israel. Hamas...

The current stability in the North is "in danger," Deputy OC Northern Command Brig.-Gen. Alon Friedman was quoted by the Times as saying Tuesday, adding that the peace could "explode at any minute." Meanwhile, surveillance footage obtained by the British newspaper shows Hizbullah fighters trying to salvage rockets and other munitions from the suspected arms cache that exploded last month in southern Lebanon.

A day after an explosion uncovered a hidden Hizbullah arms cache in southern Lebanon, the IDF's Northern Command estimated that the group had turned hundreds of homes in the area into warehouses to store short- and medium-range Katyusha rockets.

Israel is considered number one in “human intelligence” in the Middle East and perhaps the entire world, according to “Secret War in Iran” author Dr. Ronen Bergman. The United States “has the upper hand in electronics” to gather intelligence, but Israel has the advantage in recruiting agents in the field, according to Dr. Bergman. He also revealed that the Mossad was not necessarily behind the recent spies arrested in Lebanon.

Prime Minister Fouad Siniora warned on Friday that Israel was seeking to draw Lebanon into its intensifying conflict in Gaza, and called for Arab solidarity in the face of the Jewish state's military offensive against the coastal strip. "Israel is working on entrapping our country," Siniora told reporters after Friday prayers. "As long as the Palestinians remain united, we are capable of convincing the Muslim and Western worlds of our cause." His comments come after media speculation earlier in the week that Turkey and Egypt were planning to warn Israel that any ground invasion of Gaza could trigger a military...

Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear attacks are considered the most dangerous threats that could be carried out...

According to an Iraqi website close to the Lebanese government and quoted by Israeli media, Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Shia terrorist group Hezbullah, suffered from poisoning and was saved by 15 Iranian doctors, these last days in Beirut. A mysterious explosion in a suburb of Teheran that killed 15 people last Saturday was likely an attack on a Iranian military convoy carrying arms to Hizbullah, the Telegraph reported Friday. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards imposed a news black-out immediately after the blast, but the UK newspaper reported that it looked like sabotage was responsible for destroying the convoy as it traveled through Khavarshahar. The newspaper noted that the company responsible for moving the military equipment, LTK, was owned by the Revolutionary Guards and was allegedly involved in shipping arms to Hizbullah. Last Saturday's incident was the latest in a...
