About 58% of men convicted in Sweden of rape and attempted rape over the past five years were born abroad, according to data from Swedish national TV. Public broadcaster SVT said it had counted all court convictions to present a complete picture in Sweden. But Sweden had thousands more reported rapes, and there is no ethnic breakdown for those. Immigration and crime are major issues in Sweden's general election campaign. The vote is on 9 September. The anti-immigration Sweden Democrats hope to make significant ground, although they have slipped to third place in the latest opinion poll.

Sweden’s prime minister has promised to “go in hard” against masked men who set alight up to 80 cars in Gothenburg and other towns on Sweden’s west coast, in what police say appeared to be coordinated attacks. “I am really furious, what the hell are they up to?” Stefan Löfven on Tuesday morning. “Society will always act hard against this and we must continue to do so … We will do what needs to be done to take care of it and go in hard against this crime.” Sweden goes to the polls on 9 September with violent crime high...

There’s not a lot of solid information yet, at least not in English, but there are several video clips showing groups of people dressed in all black setting fire to dozens of parked cars in Gothenburg, Sweden. In this clip you can see the people sneaking around the parking lot setting fires: Around 60 vehicles had been vandalised in total, Swedish television reported, with stones also thrown at police by masked men. Three caravans and a truck have also apparently been targeted. Here’s a Swedish site which reports there were attacks at multiple sites which police believe may have been...

Police in Melbourne have been slammed for making no arrests after residents of the city’s north-west suburbs were terrorised by gangs of African youths who bragged “police can’t touch us” and branded frightened families “racist”. Despite its sending dozens of armed officers in riot gear to Taylors Hill as more than 100 teenagers gathered “for war”, and telling residents to “stay inside and lock their doors” as rival gangs ran amok, police claimed there had been “no threat to community safety”. According to The Age, there was a heavy police presence at the scene for several hours, including cavalry officers...

August 2, 2018 (C-Fam) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán appears to relish giving indigestion to elites of Western Europe and the European Union. He did it again on July 29 in the Romanian spa town of Băile Tuşnad at an annual event called the Bálványos Summer Open University and Student Camp. His speech was nothing short of a call to political arms for center-right Europeans to rise up and take over the European Parliament in the coming elections. Orbán is particularly pleased to have been given another term with a clear mandate for his vision of a stronger Hungary,...

This is routinely denied in establishment media treatments of female genital mutilation, but actually FGM is mandated in Islamic law: “Circumcision is obligatory (for every male and female) (by cutting off the piece of skin on the glans of the penis of the male, but circumcision of the female is by cutting out the bazr ‘clitoris’ [this is called khufaadh ‘female circumcision’]).” — Umdat al-Salik e4.3, translated by Mark Durie, The Third Choice, p. 64Why is it obligatory? Because Muhammad is held to have said so: “Abu al- Malih ibn Usama’s father relates that the Prophet said: ‘Circumcision is a...

Not a single Christian was among the 1,112 Syrian refugees resettled in the UK in the first three months of this year, the Home Office has admitted. It agreed only to resettle Muslims and rejected the four Christians recommended by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), despite past US declarations that Isis was committing genocide against them. The disclosure was obtained by the Barnabas Fund, a charity that supports persecuted Christians, under freedom of information laws after a protracted tussle with the Home Office.

Italy’s new Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini is following Hungary’s Viktor Orbán in putting demographics at the heart of his programme, warning that a country which imports migrants instead of supporting families is “destined to die”. The League (Lega) leader, who heads one half of Italy’s new populist coalition government, set out his priorities in an interview with The Sunday Times at the historic Palazzo del Viminale in Rome. “A country which does not create children is destined to die,” Salvini stated bluntly. “We have created a ministry of the family to work on fertility,...

(Editor’s note: All quotes and historical facts appearing in the following article are documented in the author’s new book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West.)What accounts for the stark difference between how Western and Eastern European nations respond to Muslim migrants? The former -- including Great Britain, Germany, and Scandinavia -- have been welcoming, whereas the latter -- including Poland, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia -- have not, and vociferously so.The answer, which may surprise some, revolves around awareness of regional history: Eastern European nations have a long and intimate history with Islam, and thus understand the...

Danish prosecutors on Tuesday charged an imam with calling for the killing of Jews in the first case of its kind in the Nordic nation and which sparked political outrage. Imam Mundhir Abdallah, who preaches in the Copenhagen neighbourhood of Norrebro at the Masjid Al-Faruq mosque, which media have linked to radical Islam, is accused of citing a hadith or koranic narrative calling for Muslims to rise up against Jews. “Judgement Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them,” Abdallah said in a Facebook and YouTube video post in March.

A row over how to deal with child marriage among immigrants has inflamed political debate ahead of a general election in Sweden, where migration continues to divide public opinion and the far right is riding high in the polls. A tug-of-war between the ruling Social Democrat-Green Party coalition and the opposition over the government’s role in managing or eradicating the practice — which predominantly affects young girls, and in some cases boys, from immigrant backgrounds — is emblematic of a broader struggle to find a balance between efforts to integrate a large number of new immigrants and preserve a Swedish...

"This is one of the most face-palming countries I've covered so far; and you will learn why." "Free health care for 800,000 illegal immigrants? That's normal, right?" [And at the point of maxiumum face-palm:] "Spain wants these immigrants to have the right to vote."

See something, say nothing? This appears the message in Sweden, where politically-correct authorities may punish those who dare complain about the government’s culture-rending and crime-spiking importation of vast numbers of Muslim migrants. The latest example is a dental hygienist fined approximately $50,000 for revealing that some refugees claiming to be “children” are actually adults. ... Masquerading as a minor is a common tactic among migrants as it makes it relatively easy to be granted refugee status. So, unsurprisingly, Herlitz found “that several asylum seekers who were registered as unaccompanied children showed a dental development that is more typical for people...

Starting at the age of 1, “ghetto children” must be separated from their families for at least 25 hours a week, not including nap time, for mandatory instruction in “Danish values,” including the traditions of Christmas and Easter, and Danish language. Noncompliance could result in a stoppage of welfare payments. Other Danish citizens are free to choose whether to enroll children in preschool up to the age of six. Denmark’s government is introducing a new set of laws to regulate life in 25 low-income and heavily Muslim enclaves, saying that if families there do not willingly merge into the country’s...

More than 95 per cent of deradicalisation programmes are ineffective, according to a study commissioned by the Home Office that raises questions about the government’s Prevent programme. *snip* BIT found that teachers in particular were afraid to bring up matters of race and religion with their students without appearing discriminatory, often causing them to refuse to talk about these topics entirely.

Party sources said Sunday evening that German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer had offered his resignation both from the cabinet and as CSU leader after unexpectedly re-escalating his standoff with Chancellor Angela Merkel over Germany’s asylum policy. But according to reports from a crunch leadership meeting in Munich that stretched into early Monday morning, other senior party figures had tried to dissuade Seehofer from stepping down. A press conference that had been expected all evening was eventually postponed, with party sources telling reporters that Seehofer was going to seek one more talk with Merkel on Monday about asylum policy before deciding...

Italy’s new government barred a migrant rescue ship from docking at its ports on Friday, in its third such refusal this month, hours after a tense meeting of European leaders over migration ended. Transport Minister Danilo Toninelli said in a statement he had received a formal request from the interior ministry, headed by far-right leader Matteo Salvini, to deny Spanish charity Proactiva Open Arms entry on the grounds that it was a danger to public order.

Italy’s far-right government told aid ships in the Mediterranean Sea not to rescue thousands of refugees in peril on Sunday – despite receiving six separate distress calls from unseaworthy boats. Officials said the vessels – carrying people from North Africa to Europe – were all in Libyan waters and, therefore, Libyan responsibility. The Spanish aid group, Proactiva Open Arms, which had ships in the area, said it had been specifically told not to help. Matteo Salvini, Italy’s interior minister, said in a tweet: "It's right that the Libyan authorities intervene, as they've been doing for days, without having the NGOs...

Italy says it will seize two migrant rescue ships in the Mediterranean, amid a deepening row over migrants. Two German NGO ships carrying migrants "will be seized" to determine their legal status. The move comes as French President Emmanuel Macron attacked the "leprosy" of anti-EU feeling, angering Italy's new populist government. Italy sparked the fresh row earlier this month when it refused to take in the Aquarius rescue ship.... Leaders from the 10 EU member states will meet in Brussels on Sunday to discuss how best to stem the flow of migrants into the bloc. The Italian government earlier said...
