Top 2020 Democratic contenders Kamala Harris and Julian Castro announced on Sunday that Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh "must be impeached," after a new, uncorroborated and disputed allegation of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh surfaced in a New York Times piece. ~snip~ Nevertheless, Democrats announced a new effort to topple Kavanaugh. Impeaching Kavanaugh would require a majority vote in the Democratic-controlled House, and a highly unlikely two-thirds vote in the GOP-majority Senate would then be needed to remove him from the bench. "I sat through those hearings," Harris wrote on Twitter. "Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most...

WSBT reports Kloper used to practice at the Women's Pavilion in South Bend. His medical license was suspended in 2015 after he was accused of failing to report an abortion on a 13-year-old girl.

by Samantha Connor He went there. Former HUD Secretary Julian Castro took a shot Thursday at Joe Biden, accusing the former VP of flip-flopping on health care -- and then basically suggested that Biden was senile, leaving the crowd shocked. “The difference between what I support and what you support, Vice President Biden, is that you require them to opt in, and I would not require them to opt in. They would automatically be enrolled, they wouldn’t have to buy in,” Castro said to Biden.“You do not have to buy in,” Biden responds.“Are you forgetting what you said two...

Julián Castro Lauds How Muslims Have Helped Make America Great BY ROBERT SPENCER SEPTEMBER 6, 2019 In light of the ongoing efforts by Democrats and the establishment media to make the Make America Great Again hat equivalent to the Nazi swastika, presidential candidate Julián Castro’s recent embrace of the phrase was curious in the extreme. Yet thus far no Leftist political or media spokesperson has complained about the fact that at the Hamas-linked Islamic Society of North America annual convention last week, Castro declared: “Muslim Americans for generations have been part of the fabric of our American family. They have...

Democratic presidential contender claims Islam is peaceful despite recent honor killingsHOUSTON (ChurchMilitant.com) - Bernie Sanders is praising Islam while blaming President Trump for stirring up "hate." The socialist, Democratic presidential candidate, along with pro-LGBT, pro-abortion, self-styled Catholic Julian Castro, made stops in Houston, Texas, on Aug. 31 to gain support from a Muslim community with links to terrorism. The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), an organization founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood and links to Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, held its 56th convention and featured the two contenders for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Sanders received applause from...

Former Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary turned 2020 presidential candidate Julian Castro appears to be taking a play out of Sen. Kamala Harris' (D-CA) gun control playbook. Over the last few months, Harris has made it very clear that if elected president, she would give Congress 100 days to take up "common sense" gun legislation (translation: gun control). If they fail to act, she would use executive action to make her gun control agenda a reality. During an interview on NBC News, Castro reiterated a similar position. "If I were president right now I would do two things: first...

DES MOINES — A Democratic presidential field that has struggled to precisely define its general election indictment of Donald Trump appears finally to have found it. In the wake of mass shootings in Ohio and Texas — the latter of which was tied to a suspect whose anti-immigrant sentiments led to the killing of 22 people — candidates are road-testing a withering argument that draws a direct line between gun violence and the president’s racist rhetoric. “We are living with a toxic brew of two different things, each of which is claiming lives and each of which represents a national...

Democrats are panicking. In the wake of his many gaffes and shaky debate performances, many view front-runner Joe Biden as unable to go the distance, and unlikely to beat Donald Trump if he succeeds in winning the Democratic nomination. Which of the more than 20 other candidates in the race would be a better bet, they wonder? This is where the angst sets in. Elizabeth Warren is too radical, Bernie Sanders too angry, Beto too absurd, Mayor Pete too young, Cory Booker too annoying, which leaves….Kamala Harris. She’s tough, she can debate, as a woman of color she checks numerous...

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke peddled misleading statements about Donald Trump’s so-called “Muslim ban” and remarked the unrest in Charlottesville, Virginia on CNN's “State of the Union."Host Jake Tapper failed to challenge Beto on his statements.Tapper started the segment by asking O’Rourke about his assessment a week ago, where he labeled the president a “white nationalist,” adding, “I just wonder, sir, President Trump won your home state of Texas by nine points, almost 63 million Americans voted for him, do you think it is racist to vote for President Trump in 2020?”

One of the individuals named by the Texas Democrat estimates that the lawmaker's actions have spurred donors to give more than $1 million toward Trump's reelection effort in recent days. R. H. Texas Representative Joaquin Castro's stunt he pulled this week by shining a spotlight on San Antonio citizens and businesses who donated to President Donald J. Trump backfired spectacularly as he was harangued for the obvious danger and division his tweets promoted. But, unfortunately for Rep. Castro, the ire did not come just from conservatives and Trump supporters, but also his own donors. Apparently, the list of MAGA supporters also included folks who gave to Castro's campaign as well. On Sunday night, Rep. Castro tweeted, "Sad to see so many San Antonians as 2019 maximum donors to Donald Trump — the owner...

In response to the barbed discourse that can come from President Trump himself, the responses of his enemies have ramped up over the years, intensified by a crowd of Democrats who seek to oust him. What began as simple recoil against his policies has morphed into personal attacks that have sought to paint him as a racist, a homophobe, an Islamophobe, a xenophobe, a misogynist, a serial sexual predator and a Russian spy. It is hard to imagine a tactic that would even raise eyebrows after years of such onslaughts. That’s why one of the lowest, most repulsive acts by...

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-Mass.) strong performance in this week’s Democratic presidential debates invigorated supporters who see her as slowly but surely making the case that she’s the best Democrat to take on President Trump. Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) were widely seen as the biggest winners of the two debates, along with Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), who tangled with former Vice President Joe Biden in the week’s second debate. Sanders and Warren were the stars on the first night, and they avoided battling one another while presenting a united front against centrists arguing against the progressive proposals.

Joe Biden survived the second round of Democratic presidential debates, but it became more apparent that over half the 22-person field is irrelevant and should get out, the sooner the better. The former vice president was repeatedly under attack on health care, criminal justice, immigration and abortion. He stumbled sometimes, but overall was sharper than his mediocre performance in the first debate a month ago. This won't assuage fears of mainstream Democrats that the 76-year-old Biden may not be up to the challenge of a protracted primary fight and bitter battle against Donald Trump. Still he was sufficiently engaged to...
