United States Secretary of State John Kerry has triggered an uproar in Israel yet again with remarks to the foreign press, this time for a claim that no Israelis were murdered by Palestinian terrorists in 2013. […] In fact, several Israelis were murdered in terrorist attacks in Judea and Samaria in 2013. The widow of one of them—31-year-old Evyatar Borovsky—expressed hurt at Kerry’s remarks. […] “The Americans are supposed to be our best friends, but are actually working against us and putting our backs to the wall,” she accused. Kerry is “living on a planet of his own,” she said....

RICHMOND, Va. Democratic Senate candidate James Webb would have voted against setting a one-year timetable for withdrawing U-S troops from Iraq. But he but accused Republicans today of lacking a plan for ending the military entanglement. Webb, who is challenging incumbent Republican Senator George Allen, said it's not wise to set a hard deadline for withdrawing troops. The Senate defeated a resolution yesterday by Massachusetts Senator John Kerry that would have begun a troop drawdown in Iraq this year and finish it by July 2007 was defeated in the Senate yesterday, 86-to-13. Webb said this morning that he would have...

by Mark Finkelstein April 6, 2006 The graphic claims 'Kerry Plays Hardball', but it was all slow-pitch softball today for the junior senator from Massachusetts. After feeding Kerry a number of leading questions letting him tee off on the way Pres. Bush allegedly misled the country into war, talk turned to exit strategies. Matthews: "Senator, you have a plan, pretty hard, about how we can deal with getting out of Iraq." Kerry: "Well, it's time to get tough, Chris." Now there's a courageous politician for you - one willing to admit he's tough. Kerry continued, repeating a stock formulation he's...

(2006-03-06) — Sen. John Kerry, D-MA, in a landmark speech Sunday on the global dynamics of terrorism, said a ’strong United Nations’, working with ‘moderate Muslim leaders’ could save the world from terrorism if the West stops propping up Arab kingdoms by purchasing oil. The senator proposed putting the French in charge of U.N. military operations, appointing a member of the Hamas Palestinian government to head the U.N. Human Rights Council, and “transitioning the Arab Middle East from an oil economy to an agricultural one, where lush, green acres replace the sand stretching out so far and wide.” “Some say...
  • Help me with this so-called Kerry's Jobs Creation Plan

If I understand it right, there are two things Kerry's Plans say will create jobs. The first involves closing a tax loophole and the other involves tax credits for companies that create a job. Now my two part question. Is the tax loophole Kerry plans to close the FICA tax? A number calulated based on some tax formula as a precentage of the workers gross income. (I may be incorrect about how FICA is derived but correct me if I'm wrong here) The second part is, if an American worker is paid 15 bucks an hour to do a job...

Google Inc founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have said that some new features on the world's top search engine and other services will come from its research centre in the southern Indian city of Bangalore, where they are on a hiring spree. "One approach we are taking is that Bangalore is where we run a mirror exactly of what we have in the United States in terms of development," Brin told reporters in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka state. Page and Brin said they were visiting India looking for "extraordinary talented entrepreneurial people who want to make a big...

Debate Drinking Game. Every time Kerry says "Plan", you take a drink. If he says "Plan" and doesn't tell you what it is, you take two drinks. I think I'll have passed out halfway through.

(CNSNews.com) - Two of Sen. John Kerry's surrogates on Monday accused President Bush of politicizing the military strategy in Iraq, but when a reporter asked how the senator's plan would be better than Bush's, a Kerry aide promptly halted the discussion. The episode took place during a 2:15 p.m. conference call that featured two military advisers to the Kerry campaign. They spoke about a press report that suggested the United States would hold off on any major combat operations in Iraq until after the Nov. 2 election. At the start of the question-and-answer portion of the call, Agence France-Presse reporter...
