ANGELES (AP) - President Donald Trump's 50th anniversary of the White House's visit to California has become one of the main foci of resistance to the president's actions, demonstrating his opposition both to political and protest protests. streets.

In the most populous state in the United States (nearly 40 million people), the vast majority voted for Democrats in the last presidential election (8.8 million voted for Hillary Clinton in front of 4.5 million trusted Republican Trump), one First sign that, in general, the Californians do not communicate with the ideas of the magnate in subjects like the migration or the climatic change.

A Justice Department slush fund scheme under former resident Obama reportedly funneled billions of dollars to leftist activist groups in what Mike Huckabee said was “worse than a mafia shakedown.” ... The practice was widely abused under the Obama administration, with liberal groups like La Raza and the National Urban League receiving some of the slush fund money ... Virginia Congressman Robert Goodlatte and Sen. James Lankford, both Republicans, have sponsored legislation to end the practice, which investigators have found accounted for $3 billion paid to “non-victim entities

Last night, President Trump had very little to say to the Latino community, and what he did say wasn’t good. Clearly he has taken some of the criticism he has heard to heart. He did not shout during his speech or talk about “American carnage,” but spoke in a calm and gentle way. He made nods to the Democrats and talked about working in a bipartisan manner. Yet his moderated tone and soft overtures do not make the policies he champions any less harsh. They are still the same policies he has been touting since the beginning of his campaign,...

Texas Democratic Representative Joaquin Castro says Congress should draw up “articles of impeachment” against President Donald Trump over his executive order, which temporarily prohibits the arrival of Syrian refugees into the United States and halts entry of citizens from Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Libya.

Most Americans can see the blatant hypocrisy when left-wing ethno-centric groups, such as La Raza, attempt to smear President Trump and his 61 million supporters as racists, while they themselves claim to put "Latino people first" and are closely tied to anti-white racists (see my article for FPM on that issue here). Of course, these groups wouldn’t get away with their race-based policy agenda if our media and political elites applied scrutiny properly and equally. But independent and patriotic watchdogs like FPM may be having an effect. La Raza, for example, was recently forced to create a "myths-busting" page on their website, "settling" a number concerns raised about the group over the years. The gesture suggests the group is feeling pressure....

California Secretary of State Alex Padilla announced Thursday that a ballot initiative called “California Nation” has been approved by the state to begin collecting signatures to qualify for the 2018 ballot. The effort is supported by the “Yes California” campaign, an organization that enjoys the support of the Russian government and whose founder, Louis Marinelli, now lives in Russia.

WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump plans to name the former Texas governor Rick Perry as his secretary of energy. The selection of Mr. Perry to lead the energy agency would offer a rich irony: During a televised debate in 2011, when he was seeking the Republican nomination, Mr. Perry intended to list the Department of Energy among agencies he wanted to eliminate, but he could not remember its name.

Donald Trump has narrowed his search for energy secretary to four people, with former Texas Gov. Rick Perry the leading candidate. People familiar with the president-elect's selection process said two Democratic senators from energy-producing states -- Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia -- are also in the mix, along with Ray Washburne, a Dallas investor and former chairman of the Republican National Committee. If Trump picks any of the four he will break with recent tradition of putting scientists at the top of the Energy Department. Among other things, the agency is responsible for policies...

Hispanics, who for more than a decade insisted they were the key to American politics, are now grappling with a life on the outside — stunned that a Republican managed to capture the White House without winning at least a third of their support. Immigrant rights advocates insist that Latinos did turn out in record numbers, and say they voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton, doubting major media exit polls that showed President-elect Donald Trump captured some 29 percent nationally. But that leaves another conundrum: If Republicans can win without Hispanic support, that could sap the negotiating power Latinos have claimed...

Anti-Trump secessionists filed formal paperwork Monday launching their petition drive aimed at separating California from the union by first putting the issue before voters on the 2018 ballot. A petition submitted by the Yes California Independence Campaign calls for repealing language in the state constitution that describes California as an “inseparable part” of the nation and holding a vote on independence on March 13, 2019.

Planned Parenthood receives over $200 million each year in government cash. I know La Raza and its affiliates also get millions in government cash every year. La Raza is a radical hispanic activist operation solely trying to take over California and nearby states and make them part of Mexico...why would we pay them to lobby for that???

The National Council of La Raza says there is no way more Latino voters supported Donald Trump than supported former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney in 2012. According to exit poll data, Trump received 29 percent of the Latino vote, compared to the 27 percent Romney received in 2012. While Trump lost the Latino vote Tuesday night, his 36 percentage point margin of defeat among Latinos was also smaller than Romney’s 44 percentage point loss to Barack Obama. La Raza, however, says that exit poll data is incorrect. ...more...

Leaked funding documents reveal an effort by George Soros and his foundations to manipulate election laws and process rules ahead of the federal election far more expansively than has been previously reported. The billionaire and convicted felon moved hundreds of millions of dollars into often-secret efforts to change election laws, fuel litigation to attack election integrity measures, push public narratives about voter fraud, and to integrate the political ground game of the left with efforts to scare racial minority groups about voting rights threats. These Soros-funded efforts moved through dozens of 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) charities and involved the active compliance...

On August 22, a convoy of blacked-out Suburbans, flanked by police escorts, sped west along Sunset Boulevard and then headed north into the Hollywood Hills. The motorcade finally pulled up to the gated entrance of Beverly Park, an exclusive enclave that is home to an array of famous actors, rockers, and other Los Angeles A-listers. Hillary Clinton's destination that evening was the palatial compound of Univision chairman Haim Saban, a billionaire most famous for creating the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers..... .... No single political patron has done more for the Clintons over the span of their careers.... ....People who know...

Los Angeles County was once a red area. Ronald Reagan won LA in 1980—but it was a squeaker. 1984 was better. Of course, Reagan wiped the floor with Mondale across the country. The last time a Republican Governor won LA? Pete Wilson, 1994, running on a platform of stopping illegal immigration. The 2003 recall didn’t do much for GOP chances in Los Angeles. The majority voted “No!” to the recall, but wanted Schwarzenegger to be the next Governor. Now, Los Angeles County has turned into a cesspool of illegal immigration, the lynchpin for Democratic dominance (besides the Bay Area). Poverty...

Months after the Obama administration spent $19 million to register new immigrant voters that will likely support Democrats in November, it’s dedicating an additional $10 million in a final push as the presidential election approaches. The money is distributed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Homeland Security agency that oversees lawful immigration, to organizations that help enhance pathways to naturalization by offering immigrants free citizenship instruction, English, U.S. history and civics courses. Officially, they’re known as “citizenship integration grants.” Since 2009 USCIS has doled out $63 million in these grants to prepare more than 156,000 resident immigrants in...

In the two days since the Soros Open Society Foundation hack by the DCLeaks collective, several notable revelations have emerged among the data dump of over 2,500 documents exposing the internal strategy of the organization, which expose some of Soros' tactics to influence and benefit from Europe's refugee crisis, the opportunistic funding and influence of media organizations, providing cash for assorted "pro-democracy" groups including the infamous La Raza, Soros' funding of various "social justice" organizations while paying to track unfavorable media coverage including that of Pamela Geller. One particular leaked memo, profiled earlier by the Daily Caller, argues that Europe’s...

As Hillary Clinton rolled out her running mate Tim Kaine in Miami Saturday, erstwhile VP pick contender Elizabeth Warren was also in Florida, slamming Donald Trump's "stupid wall" at the National Council of La Raza conference in Orlando. The Massachusetts senator drew a clear divide between Trump and the country's Hispanic population, telling attendees that Hispanics were disproportionately hit by the 2008 housing crisis while accusing the Republican nominee of profiting from it. "We will never build Donald Trump's stupid wall," she told the crowd to cheers during her 20-minute address, adding that "diversity has made this country strong." Previously,...
