DAYTON — A man without legs threatened another man, telling him he would “throw a bomb through your window” on Monday, Dec. 28, according to Dayton Police. The 46-year-old man told police that the legless man drove into his yard in a Jeep Grand Cherokee at about 1 p.m. and said, “Where is my money? If you don’t have my money, I will throw a bomb through your window.” The man making the threat operated the vehicle’s foot pedals with sticks or some other apparatus, according to a Dayton police report.

ABBOTSFORD, Wis. (AP) -- Two Dorchester men driving one truck at the same time were arrested for drunken driving in the Abbotsford area about 170 miles northwest of Madison. Harvey J. Miller, 43, who has no legs, steered the 1985 Chevrolet truck while Edwin H. Marzinske, 55, operated the brake and gas pedals, according to a report from the Colby/Abbotsford police. SAN DIEGO -- Animal control officers in Hollister, Calif., are a little worried after they received two litters of puppies in the last couple of weeks that show signs of what they consider inbreeding.
