The Justice Department has charged two former Twitter employees with spying for Saudi Arabia, The Washington Post reports. U.S. citizen Ahmad Abouammo on Tuesday was arrested for allegedly spying on the accounts of three users on behalf of the kingdom. Ali Alzabarah, a Saudi citizen, was charged on Wednesday with accessing the personal information of more than 6,000 Twitter accounts in 2015 on behalf of Riyadh. One of the accounts Alzabarah allegedly hacked belonged to Omar Abdulaziz, a known critic of Saudi Arabia, who later became friends with Jamal Khashoggi, The Washington Post columnist that was killed by the Saudi...

An internal audit of 29 warrant applications submitted by the FBI to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court found only minor clerical errors in a process that has come under heavy political scrutiny in recent years. The findings were revealed in a court filing Wednesday and stem from an independent review of the FBI's application process for surveillance warrants by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz. The DOJ watchdog concluded in a report earlier this year that the FBI had made over a dozen errors in its applications to look into Carter Page, a foreign policy adviser to President Trump's 2016...

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan is under fire for an old podcast clip that has surfaced in which he laughs over comments his friend made about coercing women to perform oral sex on him. Attention to celebrities' thoughts on sexual harassment and assault heightened this week after multiple women came forward and alleged that comedian Chris D’Elia sexually harassed them when they were underage. Twitter users resurfaced a clip from 2011 when Rogan hosted comedian Joey Diaz on his podcast. In the clip, Rogan laughs after Diaz boasted that he wouldn't allow women comedians onstage without performing oral sex on...

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) told Axios Saturday that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is expected to present a resolution that will allow President Trump's legal counsel to motion to immediately dismiss the impeachment charges during the Senate impeachment trial that starts, in earnest, Tuesday. "I am familiar with the resolution as it stood a day or two ago," Hawley told the news source. "My understanding is that the resolution will give the president's team the option to either move to judgment or to move to dismiss at a meaningful time," the junior senator continued. Hawley also said that he...

"The fact of the matter is this guy stood up and he was, in fact, lying." "And I just pointed out, you're a liar," the former Delaware senator continued. "It's a fact. He lied, period. And so, you know, maybe I shouldn't have kidded with him about that." During the exchange, the man made debunked claims that the former vice president sent his son to work for an energy company in Ukraine. The Iowan also challenged Biden about his age, which prompted Biden to challenge the man to a series of tests, including a push-up contest. Biden told Martin that...

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday got in a tense back-and-forth with an audience member during an Iowa campaign stop after the man claimed the former vice president sent his son Hunter Biden to work for an energy company in Ukraine. "You're a damn liar, man. That's not true," Biden shot back at the man, who said the claims, which have been circulated by some on the right, were backed up by reporting on television. Biden then went on to challenge the man to a push-up contest. "You want to check my shape man, let's do pushups together here,...

Protestors wheeled a big screen and speakers in front of Union Station Thursday night before Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's expected appearance at the Federalist Society's black tie event. Playing on the screen was the testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford from Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings last year. In her testimony, Ford alleged that Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her while the two were at Yale. Ford's allegation wasn't the only sexual assault claim against Kavanaugh, but he vehemently denied the allegation in front of congressional committees and was eventually confirmed to the highest court in the country.
