Tuesday, May 03, 2005 - A two-seat IDF/AF F-16D crashed today at Ramat David AFB, Israel, around noon local time. Both crew members ejected safely. The aircraft was on a routine training mission when the crew encountered a severe landing gear malfunction. A Glimpse Ahead Timothy Snodgrass The Impossible Will Come Alive In 2005 01/28/05 In January of 2004, as we began to intercede for the New Year the Holy Spirit gave us the prophetic slogan, "The Seas will Roar in 2004". This year we were given a new slogan, "The Impossible will come Alive in 2005". As the veil of darkness begins to come down over nations and regions, along with great shakings will come great breakthroughs; signs, wonders, healings and a spectacular release of miracles in impossible circumstances. This year, although we are ultimately poised to gain much ground, there...

New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) has long been rumored as desperately seeking the democratic nomination for president in 2008. And while many political observers fully expect the power hungry former First Lady to hit the campaign trail within only a few months of being re-elected as a US Senator in 2006, US News & World report claims to have a confirmation of sorts. From USNews.Com's Washington Whispers: Hillary's in… You don't have to take it from us about Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton 's desire to run for president. Her brothers, Hugh and Tony Rodham, say it's true. Friends...

LONDON (AFP) - Most people would think they were supremely unlucky to be struck by a falling meteorite while out in their back garden. Yet great-grandmother Pauline Aguss is just grateful the rock only grazed her arm. The 76-year-old was hit by a swiftly-falling fragment of rock while hanging out washing in her garden in the county of Suffolk, the Sun newspaper reported in its Wednesday edition. If the golf ball-sized fragment is confirmed as originating from space, Aguss will be the first Briton ever known to have been struck by a meteorite. Aguss told the newspaper that she had...

GM crop mishaps unite friends and foes 17:10 18 November 02 NewScientist.com news service Friends and foes of the use of genetic engineering in US agriculture have united in criticising two accidents in which a food crop was contaminated by a crop from the previous year designed to yield pharmaceutical products. The US Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration announced last week that they had found such genetically modified corn growing in two soybean plots in the states of Iowa and Nebraska. The GM corn had germinated from seeds left from 2001 plantings by the Texas-based company...

Blunder, mishap and farce in hunt for sniper Suzanne Goldenberg in Washington and Jon Henley in Paris Tuesday October 22, 2002 The Guardian The hunt for the roving sniper of the suburbs descended from high drama to fiasco yesterday with police begging the killer to ring in again because they had not heard him properly the first time. The appeal brought a dismal end to a day that began with a swoop on two men by swat teams in bulletproof vests that was televised live. Hours later, it transpired, the men detained were illegal workers from Central America who had...
