A Pennsylvania state legislator wants to revive the registration sticker two years after it was discarded as a cost-saving measure. A bill before the House Transportation Committee would not only bring back the tiny sticker, but tie it to state vehicle inspections as well, according to the proposed legislation introduced by Berks County Republican Rep. Barry Jozwiak. The Department of Transportation stopped issuing the stickers in 2017, a product of legislation passed years earlier. The move was projected to save more than $3 million. The Census Bureau is projecting that the population of the United States will hit 404 million by 2060, and nearly all of the net growth will be from immigrants and their families. LOS ANGELES - A Joshua Tree couple were arrested Thursday after allegedly keeping their three children locked in a box for four years, authorities said. San Bernardino County deputies found the children, aged 11,13 and 14, in a plywood box with no electricity or running water on Sun Fair Road in Joshua Tree, according to the Sheriff's Department.
