ROBELINE, La. (KSLA) - A man from Florida is facing charges after reportedly leading police on a chase from Sabine Parish into Natchitoches Parish. The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office says on Tuesday, April 4 around midday, deputies were involved in a chase on Highway 6 West involving a man on a motorcycle. Just before noon, the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office requested help chasing the man as he entered Natchitoches Parish. NATCHITOCHES, La. - A Louisiana woman is accused of asking her girlfriend to kidnap and kill her 7-month-old son in July, a crime carried out when the boy was doused with gasoline and burned to death. The mother of a boy who died after being found badly burned in Natchitoches July 17 was booked Wednesday (July 25) with principal to first degree-murder. Hannah Barker, 22, is the second person arrested in connection with the child's death, Louisiana Fire Marshal's Office reported. A six-month old baby boy was kidnapped, set on fire and dumped near train tracks in Louisiana last week. Baby Levi Cole Ellerbe was kidnapped on July 17 after two people came to mother Hanna Barker's trailer door just after 9pm and sprayed her in the face with what she believed was mace. (NATCHITOCHES, LA)- An arrest has been made in the case of a six-month-old baby burned to death on Tuesday, July 17. Louisiana Fire Marshal's Office along with the Natchitoches Police Department arrested Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith, 25. She has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Levi Cole Ellerbe. Ellerbe had been set on fire and was discovered off of Breda Avenue in Natchitoches.
