A Texas vigilante who shot and killed a robber in a Houston restaurant last year will not be charged, a grand jury has decided. The shooter, who was said to be 'protecting everyone' in the restaurant, struck Eric Eugene Washington, 30, nine times with one bullet hitting him execution-style in the head. Washington had entered the El Ranchito taqueria on January 5, 2023 while flashing what appeared to be a gun, later discovered to be plastic, and robbing the residents inside. The customer, 46, then shot Washington as he attempted to flee the scene, security footage from the event shows....

I am an avid reader of the UK newspaper The Telegraph. My wife turned me on to it and we got a subscription a few years ago and don’t blink at paying the price, whatever it is. The reason? It is both a reliable source of news, including US news and lacks the left-wing bias of The New York Times or the Washington Post without being a tabloid. It is a respectable broadsheet, leaning a bit right but hardly ideologically predictable. It is one of my go-to sources.A great example of how The Telegraph covers stories that get ignored or...

He was shot in the head and he died at a nearby hospital. The killer is a man named Darryl Roberts. Over the years this thug has been arrested and charged at least 66 times. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who have been brutally mocked by some TV presenters after their Netflix docuseries, are reportedly consulting their legal team to take action against 'South Park' 'hurtful' parody of the couple. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to be "very concerned" about their celebrity status in America. After being royally laughed at by the satirical cartoon, it shows really how far they have fallen

I can’t think of a worse example of a corporate CEO misreading his customer base than this via the Robb Report (Hat tip: Ed Driscoll, Instapundit) “At some point in time, Harley Davidson will be all-electric,” the executive [Harley-Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz] recently told Dezeen. “But that’s a long-term transition that needs to happen. It’s not something you do overnight.” Zeitz’s pronouncement seems guaranteed to make a not-insignificant portion of the manufacturer’s customer base cringe. For many enthusiasts, the thing that really sets a Harley apart from other motorcycles—American-made or otherwise—is a thunderously loud internal combustion engine. But the company...

Thanks to the massive amount of people across multiple social media platforms doing their part to move the Gabby Petito case forward, there’s been a bit of an update. Turns out, Internet sleuths believe they’ve spotted a figure that might be Brian Laundrie digging a hole in a field near Gabby’s van. In footage obtained by YouTubers named Red White & Bethune who also happen to be from Florida, those following the Gabby Petito case believe they spotted a person digging in a field.

In February 1958, the immense prime-time audience that tuned into Edward R. Murrow’s CBS program See It Now was treated to a historical first: a television interview with a former president of the United States. Among various other topics, the great journalist asked Harry Truman about how he was getting along financially. As was his custom, the plainspoken Missourian minced no words about his situation. “You know,” Truman told Murrow, “the United States government turns its chief executives out to grass. They’re just allowed to starve.” Truman went on to claim that only his recent inheritance of the family farm...

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday that world powers should clinch a global treaty on pandemics to ensure proper transparency after the novel coronavirus outbreak which originated in China. Asked by Reuters who he held responsible for any lack of transparency on the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson said: “I think its fairly obvious that most of the evidence seems to point to the disease having originated in Wuhan.” “Therefore we all need to see as much as we possibly can about how that might have happened, the zoonotic questions that people are asking. I think we...

President Donald Trump reiterated his disdain for professional athletes protesting racism by kneeling during the national anthem early Tuesday morning just hours after the San Francisco Giants' Gabe Kapler became the first major league manager to do so alongside his players. 'Looking forward to live sports, but any time I witness a player kneeling during the National Anthem, a sign of great disrespect for our Country and our Flag, the game is over for me!' Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. Beginning in September of 2017, when Trump first seized upon the issue during a rally in Alabama, the President has repeatedly...

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was accused of anti-Semitism on Monday for promoting quotes attributed to Adolph Hitler on his social media. Jackson highlighted three paragraphs from a book that attributed the quotes to Hitler. He posted the picture of the highlighted passages to his Instagram. The passage reads: “Hitler said, ‘because the white Jews knows [sic] that the Negros are the real Children of Israel and to keep Americas secret the Jews will black mail America. ‘The will extort America, their pan to world domination won’t work if the Negroes know who they were. ‘The white citizens of...

The barely clothed busker, real name Robert Burck, found a chilly reception when he arrived around 2 p.m. at City Hall Park, where hundreds of demonstrators have vowed to dig in unless the next budget includes a $1 billion funding cut to the NYPD. “Very nice meeting you!” Burck called to the throngs while strumming his guitar and walking off down Chambers Street. “Get the ---- up outta here!” yelled one less-than-amused protester who followed him to make sure he got the hell out of Dodge. “We’re gonna make sure y’all leave!” “You supported Donald Trump,” another demonstrator could be...

The overthrow of the Egyptian government is being led by the hard-corps Islamics, and there is video to prove it. We are repeating history. In 1962, a group of senior enlisted USAF photo interpreters was secretly slipped into the back door at the White House. They were there to brief President Kennedy. There had been unconfirmed rumors of a significant Russian military presence in Cuba, but the CIA agents on the ground were supplying conflicting information, and no proof of anything. In addition, no one had reported the missile crates being unloaded from Russian ships in Cuban harbors. The crates...

Madge Hung Up on Net pirates Sensational ... in purple leotard MADONNA was more Queen Of Strop than Pop last night when she discovered her new album has been leaked on to the internet – costing her a fortune in lost sales. The star has gone to great lengths to keep Confessions On A Dancefloor under lock and key until its worldwide release on November 14. Not even music critics could get a copy of the CD for review. They were forced to go to her record company HQ to hear it. But last night I was...
