Good afternoon fellow Freepers. I got a doozy of a problem I'm hoping that someone has a fix for. It seems that Microsoft Outlook, no matter the version (and I have 2010, 2016 and 2019), won't download remote content anymore. Thunderbird will, but Outlook will not. Every time I get an email with an image, I get an error message that says, "The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed or deleted. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said she disagrees with the recent move by Moody’s Investors Service’s to shift the U.S. outlook from stable to negative. “The American economy is fundamentally strong and Treasury securities remain the world’s preeminent safe and liquid asset,” Yellen said Monday following the APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting in San Francisco. The Moody’s move is “a decision that I disagree with,” Yellen added. While the U.S. still has its “AAA” rating from Moody’s, the agency called higher interest rates and the rising debt a risk to America’s fiscal strength.

Moody’s on Friday changed its outlook on the US credit rating to “negative” from “stable” citing large fiscal deficits and a decline in debt affordability. The move follows a rating downgrade of the sovereign by another rating agency, Fitch, earlier this year, which came after months of political brinkmanship around the US debt ceiling.

I've been having Send & Receive email problems. It'd taking a very long time for either function. The only email addresses I have are on Outlook.com. Is anyone else having email problems today?

Goldman Sachs on Sunday downgraded its outlook for the economy in the first two quarters of 2020 as the coronavirus zaps all growth from the U.S.Jan Hatzius, Goldman’s chief economist, lowered his first-quarter GDP growth forecast to zero from 0.7%. Chickensoup had a computer crash this spring. The beloved WIN7 and Outlook 2003 died a horrible death on the trusty Acer. Heartbroken the soup discovered there was no replacing this faithful companion. Soup needed a computer quickly and purchased a temporary HP from Staples. Win10 in all its gory. Also purchased a yearly MS package that includes Outlook, since this is to be a temporary computer. All of the businesses that the soup have have been run sucessfully on Outlook for many years. I’ve been using gmail for about four or five years now. I realize Microsoft is not perfect, but has anyone here looked at the pluses and minuses of Outlook compared to Gmail?

I have noticed that no matter how many times I mark emails from sites such as Project Veritas, James O'Keefe, and other conservative sites as NOT JUNK, Microsoft Outlook always sticks them into the junk folder.

I have a general software query I'm hoping someone can help me with. I'm trying to find, if something even exists, a plugin or add-in for Microsoft Outlook that I can use that can give me a "File Explorer" -ish look and feel to the program. I have lots of emails I'm trying to go through and if I had something that made navigating the thousands of emails I got more easily it would make my job a lot more pleasant. I have M-10 system it was slowing down so I purchased an exterior HD and started transferring thing to the F Drive low and behold my system is tell me I have lost my outlook profile.pst file. I don't know where it is I've tried you tube google but it's too confusing for an old geezer. I have a computer question. My dads laptop has several occurrences of a MS Office Outlook Social Connector (7) that were installed in 2013 and 7 instances of some sort of Windows Live Mesh software installed on the same date, but those are in Spanish (I think). Question, can I safely get rid of those programs and can my dad get MS Outlook on his laptop running Win 7 - He likes it better than Live Essentials. Thanks for the help.
