The Biden administration is considering allowing some Palestinians to come live in the United States as refugees. CBS News reported Tuesday that senior officials across several federal agencies have discussed how to resettle Palestinians from Gaza, potentially using the United States Refugee Admissions Program. The individuals chosen would have to have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent residents.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) expressed his full “support” for the United States to “bring in” Palestinian refugees from Gaza. During an interview with a reporter from Yonkers Voice, Bowman said the U.S. is a “land of immigrants” and “asylum seekers” that has always opened its “doors to immigrants,” saying, “[I] fully support that,” in response to a question regarding the U.S. opening its doors to migrants from Gaza.

Among the heart-breaking scenes from the Middle-East are video reports showing civilian casualties of the current war. In the West, we cringe at those images, especially the ones showing small children — dead, grievously wounded, or orphaned. In Gaza, there seems to be little reciprocity of sympathy. Newsmax reports that more than seventy percent of Gazans approve of the October 7 attack on Israel, in which more than 1,200 Israelis were killed, many by unspeakable torture. More than eighty percent deny that the atrocities were committed, even after watching the videos sadistically, and boastfully, recorded by the terrorists themselves. This...

One of the arguments you've probably heard circulating during the war in Gaza is that there's a difference between Hamas, who the US government and most sane people see as terrorists, and Palestinians, who are usually portrayed as innocent civilians. An inconvenient fact for supporters of this division is that Hamas is not just a militant group operating in Gaza, they are the elected leaders of Gaza. Nevertheless, we're told that not all Palestinians support Hamas. But a new poll released Wednesday calls into question that idea. In fact, Hamas, its leaders and the attack on Israel on 10/7 remain remarkably...

Australia will resume funding to the United Nations’ main Palestinian relief agency, Foreign Minister Penny Wong said on Friday, almost two months after pausing ties over allegations that some of the agency’s employees participated in the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel. Australia had consulted with UNRWA and other donors and was satisfied the aid agency was not a terror organisation, Wong said. New and additional safeguards would protect aid money, and A$6 million ($3.9 million) in paused funding would be released immediately, she said. “We have children and families that are starving and we have a capacity along with...

US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer gave a speech on "a pathway to peace and achieving a two-state solution" today (Thursday). In his remarks Schumer called for the holding of new elections in Israel, saying that "Netanyahu has lost his way". He further called the Israeli Prime Minister an "obstacle to peace." According to Schumer, Netanyahu is one of four obstacles to peace, among others being Hamas, "radical Israelis", and Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas. Schumer's criticism of Netanyahu centered on the prime minister's "outright" rejection of the idea of creation of a Palestinian state in the aftermath of October...

Senior White House officials will reportedly meet with members of the Arab, Muslim, and Palestinian immigrant communities in Chicago on Thursday, without having commented on the latest wave of antisemitism in that city. CNN reported: Senior White House officials are planning to meet with Arab-, Muslim- and Palestinian-American community leaders in Chicago on Thursday, multiple sources familiar with the meeting told CNN, as President Joe Biden continues to grapple with anger and concern across the country about the Israel-Hamas war. … Among those expected to participate in the meeting, according to sources, are: Tom Perez, the White House’s director of...

Israel is now engaged in the fourth war it has had to fight for its survival. The three others were fought in 1948, 1967, and 1973. In addition, there have been a half-dozen other campaigns the Israelis have had to fight against the terrorists of the PLO, Hamas, and Hezbollah. The IDF soldiers, their ranks increased with the addition of 360,000 reservists, have been fighting up and down the Gaza Strip, a hellishly difficult theatre of war — that is, urban warfare in one of the most densely-populated places on earth. Israel’s mortal enemy, the terror group Hamas, has built...

Ireland has told the UN’s top court that states are obliged to co-operate to bring an end to “Israel’s serious breach” of its duty to respect the rights of Palestinian people. Irish Attorney General Rossa Fanning said states are obliged not to render aid or assistance in maintaining this situation. He said it was Ireland’s view that all states are required to review trading relationships with settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, requiring them to take steps to prevent trade which maintains settlement activity or implicitly legitimises Israel’s annexation of that territory. The proceedings follow a December 2022 resolution of...

Palestine protesters used powerful lasers to write the words of an infamous antisemitic message on the Elizabeth Tower, best known worldwide as the Big Ben clock at Britain’s Parliament. Messages including “From the river to the sea, Palestina will be free” were projected onto the side of the Elizabeth Tower during a large Palestine protest in Westminster’s Parliament Square on Wednesday night. As the demonstration roared outside, Parliament faced problems of its own, as conflicting left-wing party attempts to vote on a resolution in favour of a Gaza ceasefire saw a major break with convention potentially permanently damaging the authority...

Israel rejected a reported Biden administration plan for a Palestinian state as the outcome of the war that Hamas began with the October 7 terror attack, saying Thursday that now is “not the time” for “gifts” to the Palestinians for having launched the war. President Joe Biden and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken have pressed Israel, publicly and privately, to accept a Palestinian state. The Biden administration reportedly stalled a Saudi-Israeli peace plan, several weeks before the war, pressuring both sides to include a pathway to a Palestinian state. The White House has not changed its focus on a...

I was walking down the street last week, and suddenly, I heard honking from a bunch of cars. Not sure what it was, I looked over to see a cavalcade of cars driving by, waving big Palestinian flags out their windows. This went on for about five minutes until, eventually, they had all disappeared. This comes on the heels of seeing the Palestinian flag painted on the sides of buildings or on overpasses or stickers stuck to signs and the windows of various McDonald’s –and not put there by the store’s owners! Thankfully, there was no real disturbance other than...

President Joe Biden is shielding Palestinians in the United States from deportation while authorizing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to loosen work requirements to funnel them into American jobs. On Wednesday, Biden issued a memorandum to DHS and the State Department, providing most Palestinians in the U.S. with “Deferred Enforced Departure” for at least 18 months amid war in Israel with Hamas terrorists.

Ireland has “no plans” to suspend funding for the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, the Tánaiste has said, after other nations have announced they are suspending funding. It comes after Israel’s foreign minister said the country will seek to stop UNRWA from operating in Gaza after the war after it accused several of its staff of involvement in Hamas’s 7 October attack. Australia, Italy, Finland, the Netherlands and Canada have decided to suspend financing of UNRWA, while Britain and the US will temporarily pause future funding. In a post on X, Micheál Martin said he has “full confidence” in Commissioner-General...

In a three-part interview with Kuwaiti podcaster Amar Taki, posted during the second week of January 2024, Khaled Mashal, the leader of Hamas abroad, rejected the two-state solution. He said that there is a consensus among Palestinians that they will not give up their rights to Palestine from the Mediterranean River to the Mediterranean Sea. Mashal said that October 7 has renewed this dream and hope and shown that it is a realistic idea, not merely a dream. He stated that taking control of the Gaza Strip following the 2006 elections was necessary in order to build up the resistance,...

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - A South Florida man was arrested after, police said, they caught him using spray paint to cover up pro-Palestinian graffiti at a South Florida highway. Thirty-year-old Yoni Maimon was charged with two counts of criminal mischief. “The boss called me around 8 a.m. and told me about some ‘Free Palestine,’ and if I can cover,” said Maimon. “I drive through I-95 next to exit 27 and I saw under the bridge the ‘Free Palestine,’ ‘Free Gaza,’ and then I went to Home Depot, bought the spray, and I just covered everything.” According to the arrest...
