Israel in 'serious breach' of Palestinian rights, Ireland tells ICJ

Ireland has told the UN’s top court that states are obliged to co-operate to bring an end to “Israel’s serious breach” of its duty to respect the rights of Palestinian people.

Irish Attorney General Rossa Fanning said states are obliged not to render aid or assistance in maintaining this situation.

He said it was Ireland’s view that all states are required to review trading relationships with settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, requiring them to take steps to prevent trade which maintains settlement activity or implicitly legitimises Israel’s annexation of that territory.

The proceedings follow a December 2022 resolution of the UN General Assembly, meaning they predate the 7 October massacre in Israel and the ensuing hostilities in Gaza.

The assembly has asked the UN’s top court to examine the legal consequences of the “ongoing violation by Israel of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination” due to its prolonged occupation and settlement of Palestinian territories. …

The immoral Irish idiots never had a single word to say about the palestinian mass murders.

Disgusting pricks.

I guess one should never be shocked by what the moslem dominated Left will do.

But I am still surprised that these Euros skate past any accountability for the Criminal Regime that planned, organized and carried out the attacks of Oct 7.

Israelis were quietly at home on the Sabbath October 7th, meaning those who are religiously observant (not the majority) were not watching TV, doing any kind of work or going out driving. Nearly 2,000 were killed and many taken hostage.

One: “The family watched as the Hamas man struggled to behead
the children’s mother, striking at her neck again and again with a shovel.”

Another: “Terrorists stripped the young woman and took turns raping her and laughing at her attempts to break free.”

So now not enough compassionate caring is shown by Israelis against their enemies.

“Israel’s duty to respect the rights of Palestinian people.”

How could any sane person or country say such a thing?

It sounds like Ireland would be a great place to resettle the Palestinians. Palestinians might even appreciate that and suddenly learn to stop killing their neighbors.

Feh! How disgusting and devoid of empathy and compassion. Never visited Ireland and trust me, it's not on my list to ever do so.

The Irish are getting good at bashing Israel for their new Muslim Overlords. Perhaps more LGBTQI parades and aborting more Irish babies will please their overlords even more?

Remember the tight cooperation between the Irish terrorists, Libya, and the palestinian terror-groups. This colaboration has just moved into the diplomatic arena now.

IRA-PLO cooperation: A long, cozy relationship

Gerry Adams' decision to meet with Hamas during his visit to the region this week [April 2009] will come as little surprise to those familiar with the history of Irish Republicanism's cozy relationship with Middle East terrorism. This began in the early 1970s when Muammar Gaddafi's then-terror-sponsoring regime began supplying the IRA with the financial, military and logistical assistance it required to prosecute its brutal anti-British offensive....

The weird thing is that the Irish people do not support their government and it is the government that seems to be in control.

Sounds like the U.S. and the UK.

For over 1,400 years islam has been a serious breech of human rights as it slaughtered populations, nations and cultures in its quest to conquer the world.

It’s past time to push back.

There’s a guy on Youtube named Niall O’Connell, from County Donegal, who makes a lot of videos about how many people are being resettled in Ireland as it stands, and he claims to be against it and is trying to run for office (probably in vain) to put a stop to it.

He was talking about how Catholics and Protestants need to be unified on the subject during one livestream, when someone on his chat feed interjected and complained about how the Protestants were “exporting Zionism”, and he agreed that was a problem. Well, that makes him no different ultimately from the politicians he’s complaining about, being at best highly uninformed and at worst a total hypocrite and self-aggrandizer on this issue.
