The folks who gave us Mickey Mouse and Goofy have decided it’s time for your children to enjoy same-sex romance while they slurp down their Fruit Loops. Disney just broadcast their very first gay cartoon kiss. It happened during the second season of “Star vs The Forces of Evil,” a cartoon broadcast on Disney XD. An audience scene shows two guys kissing and a later scene show two ladies sharing an intimate moment.

Bacon, ham and sausages rank alongside cigarettes as a major cause of cancer, the World Health Organisation has said, placing cured and processed meats in the same category as asbestos, alcohol, arsenic and tobacco. The report from the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer said there was enough evidence to rank processed meats as group 1 carcinogens because of a causal link with bowel cancer. <p>There's a new Girl Scout in town and she prefers trinkets instead of badges to reflect achievement.</p> <p>The organization famous for cookies is revamping its programs in hopes of keeping "tweens" or middle-school aged girls interested in the program.</p> <p>The Girl Scouts of America  has launched a program called Studio 2B, which allows girls ages 11 to 17 help set their troop's agenda, where they earn charms instead of badges, and their mentors are college-aged women instead of moms.</p>

<p>Last Tuesday, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger laid out his agenda for California in his State of the State address. Like so many newspaper reporters and pundits, I want to recommend an agenda for him to follow: an agenda that promotes individual liberty.</p>
