Satan twists God's message by elevating one Scripture at the expense of all others. Â Sadly, many Christians play right along with him. Â Interpreting Scripture is not "this and not that", but "line upon line". Â In other words, we need to stop shredding Scriptures, ignoring others, and assuming what they mean, and start trusting every Scripture for what they plainly say. Â I see many examples of this assumptive Scripture-twisting in the Church and I've argued that it is the primary reason divisions exist within Christianity. Â I've written a lot about the need for faithful, comprehensive exegesis in regards to the...

The following is 'an' essay on Luke 21, as relating to The Rapture of Believers and Jesus's Prophecy for Jerusalem. Another thread is stuck where this would have been posted as a response. I'll ping the freepers who might have interest. The essay is long, so it will be divided into to posts, the body of the thread then the body of comments. Before setting to this post, I listened repeatedly to Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, having gone to bed listening to Matthew 24 from the Andrew Scourby reading of the King James Bible. Much diverging opinion...

Today is July 7, 2017 (7/7/17) in the Hebrew year 5777. Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are meeting in Hamburg, Germany today. Today is also 77 days from the Feast of Trumpets and the Revelation 12 Sign (see here). While Trump and Putin meet today, Putin is exactly 777 months old to the day (see here). Also, today is exactly 5777 days from September 11, 2001 (see here). Again, remember that we are in Hebrew year 5777. And remember that Trump was inaugurated when he was exactly 70 years, 7 months, and 7 days old and was born 700 days...

As soon as you perceive that the time for the rapture may be near, please do the following in context with Matthew 24 (since we must maintain our scriptural foundation): 1. Locate the nearest mountain. (If you are in Kansas, sorry, but you are in serious trouble.) — "Let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." 2. Make sure you have a full tank of gas so you can leave your city of residence — "Let those in the city get out." 3. If you are temporarily out of town, think twice about returning home — "Let those...

Intro Of late many of us have been enthralled with the heavily reported Revelation 12 sign. As the day nears and the conversations with friends and family grow more pointed and urgent the need for recap and introduction becomes more important. We intend to have more Left Behind letters on Unsealed, but here is a good primer. There is much in prophecy, in the precision of creation and the precision of the Word that screams that God is who He says He is. This blog is just a very light sparing overview of a few highlights. I have provided...

If and when the Rapture of the Church occurs and Christians are spirited off the face of the earth to Heaven, how will the secular governments and media explain the phenomenon? Millions of people will suddenly be gone from the societies and populations of the earth. Many who thought or said that they were Christians, will still be here. No born-again Christians will be here. The Billy Graham article is cited to provide information.

Nadab and Abihu were the eldest sons of Aaron and along with their father were the first priests to serve in the Tabernacle. Their story is a terrifying warning to us about God's unbending requirements. In Leviticus 10 we learn that they brought a "strange fire" before the LORD - in other words, a fire not authorized by God. As a consequence they were immediately consumed and killed by fire. In like manner, God has authorized only one acceptable sacrifice for us to bring before Him. God's Word tells us that no one is righteous in His sight (Psalm...

I've written before on the subject of a partial-rapture. In short, I disagree with the Gospel-deniers who promote it. However, I actually do believe in a partial-rapture - not of Believers, but of Christendom. All Believers who have thrown themselves on the mercy of God and are clinging to the Cross will be leaving very shortly. However, there are a great many who label themselves "Christian" and yet have never accepted God's provision for their sins. They talk incessantly of the Bible and good works and Jesus, yet they have no understanding of Jesus' primary message: You think you...

1. The rapture is plainly taught in Scripture. Believers will be physically removed from the earth according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. As soon as I hear someone say, "the rapture is not in the Bible," I know they've already lost the argument. If you think 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is just allegory then there is nothing further to discuss. If we can't agree on the basic meaning of words then we are not going to agree on anything. The passage says Believers will be "caught up" from the earth and will meet the Lord in the sky. Some even go...

Remember Edgar Whisenant's 88 reasons Why The Rapture Will Be in 1988? Whenever a Christian starts talking about signs and evidence for the nearness of the rapture you can be sure there is someone just aching to bring up this book as the be-all and end-all of the conversation. "People have always tried to predict when Jesus will come back and every time they were wrong." They have a good point and it would be foolish not to address it. You would think that if Whisenant found 88 reasons for the rapture to occur in September 1988, and his...

People tend to shy away from the conversation when "Bible codes", gematria, or numerology come up, and for good reason: they have been presented with every interpretation under the sun. Ask a dozen Bible code or gematria "experts" and you'll get two dozen answers as to who the antichrist is or when Jesus is coming back. Their predictive track records are also about as poor as your chances of winning the lottery. I've never put much stock in the theories of those who think they've single-handedly uncovered some secret knowledge hidden in the Bible using one of the aforementioned methods....

"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going." Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?" Jesus said to...

This is the fourth article dealing specifically with arguments presented against the significance of the Revelation 12 Sign. You can read the first three here, here, and here. We also have the internet's largest compendium of information on the September 2017 alignment here. My confidence in the significance of this sign has actually grown since writing these articles. I've made it sort of my mission to prove this thing wrong, but I haven't been able to. Debunkers like Richardson, McHyde, Crone, and Faulkner are not dealing with the specific claims and evidence surrounding this sign and instead are continuing...

There have always been wars and rumors of wars. There have always been earthquakes. There have always been famines and pestilences. There have even been "signs in the heavens" in times past, like the Star of Bethlehem. Yet it is not any one of these signs that tells us that Christ's return is near, it is the convergence of these quickly, all at once. The reestablishment of Israel. The conquest of Jerusalem. Globalization simultaneous with more simultaneous armed conflicts (56 at last count) than at any other time in history. Large earthquakes in short-succession. Genuine up-trend in earthquakes of >...

Link to today's broadscast Jan’s first guest is Pastor Billy Crone. Jan and Crone consider the date of September 23, one of the most searched topics on Google. Is this more date-setting? This refers to the “great sign” in Revelation 12. Some suggest that the Rapture or Tribulation will begin on this date. We believe as it concerns the Rapture, “it could happen today” which is imminency.

A reader recently asked a question that many of us have probably wondered: if the Revelation 12 Sign occurs on September 23rd, why does it appear that the male child (Jupiter) is born two weeks earlier on September 9th? It's a good question that appears to have a Scriptural answer. Â Not only an answer to the objection, but further confirmation and evidence of the precision and significance of this September's sign. In Revelation 12:1-2 the sign is described with all of its simultaneous details: the sun, the moon, the crown of twelve stars, and the woman in labor. Â The...

I've mentioned before how astonished I am at what seems to be a convergence of opinion among students of Bible prophecy regarding the Revelation 12 Sign and its significance. I find this fascinating because I've never seen this sort of consensus among watchers before regarding specific signs and dates. In times past, dates that were set have come and gone because it was usually lone rangers espousing them: Harold Camping, Edgar Whisenant, William Miller, Ellen G. White, and to a certain extant in recent times - John Hagee and Jonathan Cahn. Dr. David Reagan had a very perceptive thing...

I suppose that this assertion might shock you, but the doctrine of the "rapture" was never taught prior to 1830. Even if it's a little uncomfortable to consider, I would ask you to stay with me on this. . .

To my brother or sister in Christ who is gearing up to go into the Tribulation, guns blazing, ready to light up the night with your biblical insight and off-the-grid survival skills...let's reason together, please. While I appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment to spreading the gospel as the wrath of the Lamb rains down on the earth through the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments, you need to get all your work in for Christ now, before the start of Daniel's 70th week. Is that all right with you? Am I now just one of those escapist Pre-tribbers who doesn't have...

It's a hotly debated topic that scares Christians more than non-Christians and causes great fear and confusion all around: who will be counted worthy to escape before the Tribulation (Rev. 3:10, Luke 21:36)? Who will be raptured? I've been scared myself by this question because I know that I'm not perfect. I strive to be perfect, but I, like Paul, still battle against this body of sin and death (Romans 7:21-25). If the level of worthiness that God requires for us to be raptured is our own perfection and sinlessness then neither you nor I have any hope of...
