Together with fantastic soloists and his always joyful Johann Strauss orchestra, André Rieu provides a fabulous evening with the most beautiful and moving Christmas carols, but also with emotional songs such as Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, The Holy City and the classic Concierto de Aranjuez.

In these times of trouble and uncertainty, when you're feeling down, when things seem insurmountable, or you're just losing faith in humanity in general, listen to the music of André Rieu, especially his music videos. His epic worldwide concerts draw thousands and celebrate the human spirit through music. I find them very uplifting, restoring my faith that humanity is still capable of doing wonderful things. A classical violinist trounced established pop acts yesterday when his album of Strauss waltzes climbed to number two in the charts. André Rieu beat pop stars including Paolo Nutini, Florence and the Machine and Lady Gaga with his album Forever Vienna.
