A crime tale straight out of Charles Dickens is unfolding in the Big Apple — with adults “directing” children who appear no older than 10 to steal from unsuspecting businesses, witnesses told The Post. The chubby-cheeked crooks have terrorized bars on the east and west side of Manhattan and Brooklyn for months, graduating from snatching money in unattended bags to stealing cash from open safes in at least two bars in the last few weeks, according to workers and owners.

Alan Duncan, a convicted murderer, is charged with robbing Selfreliance Federal Credit Union, 2332 West Chicago Avenue, on November 20. Duncan returned to Minnesota after the robbery and is suspected of returning to Chicago ten days later to rob another bank. But Duncan confided in his brother that he lost the money — and more — when someone stole his car with the cash inside. Three...

(Jun. 5, 2023) — It is unclear at this time who is behind the circulating stories since early March 2023 with disinformation about Ron DeSantis’s mother Karen Ann (nee Rogers) DeSantis’ birth location. The disinformation articles claim she was born in Poland and later moved with her parents to the USA. See the articles here and here. But that statement per my genealogy research is not true. Most of these sites are not allowing comments to counteract the false information therein. They seem to want it to spread unimpeded and unchallenged. Note: These “clever disinformation use of the place name...

Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis is attacking former President Donald Trump for “turning the country over to [Dr. Anthony] Fauci in March 2020” but DeSantis was praising the chief public health official at the same time in previously unreported quotes, saying Fauci was “really, really good and really, really helpful” and “really doing a good job.” In other comments, the Florida governor said he deferred to Fauci’s guidance on COVID-19 restrictions and later cited his guidance when communicating the policies he was putting in place early in the pandemic in the state of Florida. “You have a lot of...

“Saturday Night Live,” you can do it — better. Comedian Rob Schneider burst out on the scene on "Saturday Night Live" in the 1990s, but nearly three decades later, he thinks the hit NBC comedy series is bursting the punchline when it comes to the Trump White House. The 54-year-old San Francisco native, who was part of the show's now-legendary cast that included Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Chris Rock, David Spade and Adam Sandler, says the show today is no different in some ways — yet when it comes to politics, they are too obviously "showing their hand"...

Rob Reiner escalated his attacks on President Donald Trump on Sunday, taking to social media to demand that GOP “patriots” take a stand to “end” what he called the “sickness” of his presidency. The 70-year-old LBJ filmmaker — a frequent critic of the president who previously launched a committee to explore possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential race — blasted Trump in a Twitter post in apparent response to a school shooting in Florida this week that left 17 people dead and 15 others injured.
