They just affirm what many of us have already believed. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Citizen Journalist, Ryan Sorba recently went undercover in Palm Springs, California, posing as a same-sex marriage activist. He asked the following question: “Do you believe being gay is strictly genetic?” The video enclosed in this email is a montage of clips from interviews in which gays admit that they believe they are gay due external circumstances, such as being sexually abused at an early age or going through other traumatic experiences. When asked how many interviews Sorba obtained during this venture, he answered, “There are many more...

California Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chairman Ryan Sorba generated a media controversy when he was shown at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) denouncing the organizers for inviting a homosexual Republican group, GOProud, into the event as an official sponsor. In "controversial" remarks, Sorba said homosexuality was unnatural and that he welcomed more debate and discussion about the subject from his political adversaries. But what many people don't realize is that Sorba's "outburst" was provoked by a speaker who preceded him, Alexander McCobin of Students For Liberty (SFL). McCobin went out of his way to use valuable time from...

This kid is deep in the closet, people. My colleague Nate Gunderson caught me as I was nearly out the door. I was walking back from the bloggers’ lounge with a friend in the Virginia newspaper business, and Nate tapped my shoulder to tell me that Ryan Sorba, the kid who embarrassed himself in front of the world by denouncing GOProud to a round of boos, was standing twenty feet away from me. He had a few people near him, probably curious about who he was and what he stood for. After deliberating for a few seconds, I decided to let...

"While I was flipping through the autobiography, a woman approached the booth. Catherine Sumner, it turned out, was part of GOProud, a group of openly gay Republicans and conservatives that for the first time is taking part in CPAC. “Is this your flyer?” Sumner demanded, waving the white and green pamphlet. Thus launched a debate about gays in the military that pretty much ended when the booth attendee told her that homosexuality is a sin and she’s going to hell. “It’s insulting,” Sumner, 31, who edits a military magazine, said turning away. “Across the board the reaction to GOProud’s presence...

The young crowd at CPAC doesn't seem terribly interested in the issue of same-sex marriage, but there's been a bit of shadow boxing between the gay Republican group GOProud, which got a booth over objections from social conservatives, and the National Organization for Marriage a couple of booths away. The groups were apparently so chummy that a NOM official wandered by the GOProud booth during a CNN segment on the group to propose a friendly beer summit. Later in the day, however, NOM e-mailed a less friendly statement: Many reporters, including Politico, have asked us how we feel about the...

Washington (CNN) -- An unlikely sponsor at this year's annual conservative conference is hoping to not only promote the issues that set it apart from many Republicans, but also draw attention to the beliefs they share. The group is called GOProud -- a name that combines GOP and gay pride. So far, the group is getting a mixed response at the Conservative Political Action Conference. GOProud was founded by former members of the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay and lesbian Republican grass-roots organization. GOProud has a booth at CPAC just two spaces away from the exhibition for the National Organization...

The annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) started Thursday in Washington, DC, and runs through this weekend. CPAC is billed as America's largest conservative conference. It attracts nearly 10,000 activists and features a who's who of speakers, including congressmen, major media people, governors, and presidential candidates. But in recent years - probably for fundraising reasons - CPAC has stressed taxes and fiscal issues while ignoring the "social issues" as much as possible. And in turn, CPAC has attracted more RINO-Republican types of attendees, particularly among students. But this year CPAC has included a homosexual group that espouses most of the...

The speaker, Ryan Sorba, was introduced to talk about his experiences with the ACORN investigation. Before he could even say a word the boos started from the assorted gay activists in the crowd. (Sorba is a frequent critic of the homosexual lifestyle). Note that only AFTER the boos began did Sorba change the subject to condemning CPAC for inviting GOProud to CPAC. He became flustered as any young man in such a situation would be on national TV, at a supposedly "conservative" event, being booed by homosexual activists...but his response that "Lesbians at Smith college protest better than you do"...

During a CPAC segment to recognize student conservative activists from across the country, one particular conservative, Ryan Sorba of the California Young Americans for Freedom, denounced CPAC for allowing the gay conservative group GOProud to co-sponsor the event and host a booth. After finishing his short speech against homosexuality as being contrary to the concept of natural rights -- amidst booing from the crowd -- he walked off the stage. "Just to change the subject for just a second, I'd like to condemn CPAC for bringing GOPride (sic) to this event," said Sorba. The young activist crowd erupted into booing,...

Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organization’s California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPAC’s choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he “condemns CPAC”. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

Dozens of lesbian activists at Smith College climbed in through windows and stormed the podium in a riot scene shortly after Ryan Sorba began a speech on his upcoming book, The Born Gay Hoax. The melee forced an end to the speech before a packed hall in the library on the Northampton campus. Uniformed police officers and a plainclothes security guard were in the room but mostly just stood and watched. Rather than take action against the rioters, the officers and a university official walked to the podium and ordered Sorba to leave the room “for his own safety.”

NORTHAMPTON - After several years of de-emphasizing SAT scores, Smith College has decided to drop them as a requirement for admission. Beginning in the fall of 2009, Smith will make the submission of SAT results optional in the application process, joining colleges such as Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, Bowdoin and Bates in looking at other aspects of prospective students. The policy change, which was recently approved by Smith President Carol T. Christ, is part of an effort to take a "holistic" approach to assessing applicants, according to Audrey Y. Smith, the college's dean of enrollment. "What we're assessing is their readiness...

Campus activist Ryan Sorba delivered his "born gay hoax" lecture at the notoriously pro-homosexualist Smith College in Massachusetts last night. You can see leftist/homosexualist reaction in the blogosphere and watch a video of the rabid activists that refused to let Sorba deliver his blockbuster speech. Here is a pdf of his upcoming book: http://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen/08a/born_gay_hoax/TheBornGayHoax.pdf And here is audio from a previous speech at Framingham State University: http://www.massresistance.org/media/audio/2008/BornGayHoax_033108.m3u
