This is pure vanity, and bribery at that. Laz is important to this site. He's rude, he's crude, he's sometimes lewd. The mods can always ban him again. They surely will. But free Laz for now and I'm in for another twenty bucks. Who's with me?
  • Parents protest military statue

Anti-military, anti-American, anti-freedom filth is attacking the placement of a statue to KIA SEAL Danny Dietz, saying it glorifies violence and will harm children in the schools and parks nearby. I am not making this up. I will be on it tonight on the "Gunny Bob Show." Go to www.850koa.com and click Listen Live at 1900 MT. I am rarely in a high state of rage these days due to doctor's orders, but today I am making a special exception.

Wade Jacoby Specht's Store —If you've listened to almost any type of live music around here for the last couple of decades, you've probably heard Wade Jacoby. A pianist and vocalist, Jacoby has worked with a mind-boggling array of artists, from Clay Meyers to Jay Eric & Blieders Creek, from Mesquite to Darryl Dugosh. Jacoby also turned in a long stint working solo at the Marriott on the River Walk. Though he's pursued other business interests, Jacoby is back in the music whirl with a labor of love, a CD called "The Bicycle Wreck: A Tribute to the Jacoby Brothers."...

  • SSAF -- We Didn't Lose Any Glass in Baghdad Sheraton Attack

Nich Ashton in Baghdad | 11-21-03 | dfu
I just heard on instant messaging from Baghdad. Nick Ashton, president of SSAF, is there working with the provisional government and other foreign government and commercial interests. All the glass that SSAF protected at the Sheraton survived the attack. Nick was there a short time ago to make an inspection. He only had a moment to send me a message but I think he was indicating that Russian weapons were used. That's it for now.

JUKU: A COMICS ALBUM RELEASED My first book, Juku: A Comics Album, is now available for sale at Amazon.com. For those of you who enjoy reading comics, but balk at the thought of paying three bucks for a thin "comic book" chock full of ads, Juku is for you -- a comic book worthy of the name: 244 pages, eight original stories (two by me), black and white, squarebound, ten bucks. The stories range from dopey sci-fi action to personal drama, with parody, humor, and true-life reminescences thrown in for good measure. It's easy to read, family-friendly, and contains no...
