Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said his hot-mic remark last month predicting GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley would get “smoked” in the race against former President Trump was a “complete mistake,” but he did not apologize for making the comment. In a preview of a “Good Morning America” interview set to air on Tuesday, Christie recounted the hot-mic moment that took place just minutes before he suspended his presidential campaign, when Christie was heard saying about Haley, “She’s gonna get smoked. And you and I both know it, she’s not up to this.”

Newsmax host Eric Bolling and New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) clashed on the air on Tuesday over the governor’s support of GOP presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley. In the interview, Bolling asked Sununu if he had changed his mind on his support for the former United Nations ambassador, to which Sununu replied that he hadn’t. “Look, Nikki Haley’s within single digits of beating Donald Trump and kinda hitting a reset button for the entire process,” Sununu said in the interview highlighted by Mediate. “That happens here in New Hampshire. We don’t look backwards, we always go forward. She’s galvanizing...

During the apparent hot mic moment, Christie could be heard saying Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had called him. According to Christie, DeSantis was "petrified." The Associated Press said Christie could have been saying DeSantis was worried he would endorse former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley. About Haley, Christie said she is "going to get smoked," and that "she's not up to this." Newsweek reached out to Christie's campaign...

Cannabis poses a greater threat to health than tobacco, lung experts have warned. The warning comes on the day that Home Secretary David Blunkett is due to make a Commons statement about the future of government drug policy. Many young people are simply not aware that smoking cannabis may put them at increased risk of respiratory cancers and infections . Dame Helena Shovelton: The Home Affairs Select Committee has recommended that cannabis is downgraded from a class B drug to class C.
