A congressional candidate in Texas was mocked over his appearance during a segment on "Saturday Night Live."Comedian Pete Davidson was giving his "first impressions" of some candidates ahead of Tuesday's midterm elections during the show's "Weekend Update."He said that there are "some gross people" running and mockingly described Gov. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), among others.Davidson then gave his description of Dan Crenshaw (R), who lost his right eye in an IED blast in Afghanistan. The blue wave is now a bygone figment of a liberal Hollywood fantasy. Voter excitement is clearly with the Republican Party and President Donald Trump! There is a Red Wave Rising! One pundit, Michael E. Newton, has been tracking the 2018 mid-term election data to date. He addresses people’s questions about mid-term voting to date: Newton explains that because Democrat and Republican voting may have gotten closer each day, doesn’t mean that the Democrats are really catching up in early voting. It just means the Republican percent of gains over 2016 are not as great as they were yesterday: What...

The Dallas Morning News’s editorial board called on Democratic Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke on Friday to provide clarification regarding where he stands on the migrant caravan that is heading towards the U.S border. O’Rourke, who is trying to unseat Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, has been dodging the issue, despite immigration and border security overwhelmingly being the top issues for voters in Texas. Cruz urged reporters on Friday to probe O’Rourke into what he intends to do if elected to the Senate on Nov. 6. “Two basic [questions] every reporter should ask Beto today,” Cruz tweeted. “(1) should the “caravan” be...

Further proving the late-night comedy show is garbage entertainment for garbage people, Saturday Night Live "comedian" Pete Davidson sparked controversy after he made an ugly joke targeting GOP congressional candidate and former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw. The punchline? Crenshaw wears an eye-patch due to losing his right eye during an IED blast while serving in Afghanistan. That's funny stuff, apparently, to the liberals writing the jokes for SNL. Davidson was participating in a segment called "The Weekly Rundown" where SNL participants give what is supposed humorous commentary on current events. Davidson remarked he noticed there was an unusual rash of "gross"...

Since the Vietnam War, liberals have been known for their great disdain for America’s service members, despite their efforts to hide it. During NBC’s latest edition of Saturday Night Live, that disdain poked its ugly head out in the form of supposed comedian Pete Davidson mocking Republican congressional candidate and former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw about the eye he lost to an IED blast while serving in Afghanistan, “or whatever†according to the funny man. The vile attack came during the SNL’s faux news segment “Weekend Update†where Davidson was mocking multiple Republican politicians for their looks. The comedian stated...

Michael Vickers, a veterinarian and rancher in Falfurrias, Texas, says he won’t let outside militia onto his property and he doesn’t think such groups will be trusted by most area landowners. Gun-carrying civilian groups and border vigilantes have heard a call to arms in President Trump’s warnings about threats to American security posed by caravans of Central American migrants moving through Mexico. They’re packing coolers and tents, oiling rifles and tuning up aerial drones, with plans to form caravans of their own and trail American troops to the border. “We’ll observe and report, and offer aid in any way...

According to the latest available U.S. Commerce Department data, the number of Michiganders employed in the auto and auto parts manufacturing industry is about half what it was at the turn of the millennium. United Auto Workers (UAW) union bosses, who for decades have wielded their government-granted monopoly-bargaining power to foist counterproductive work rules and inefficient benefit plans on unionized autoworkers and automakers, bear a large part of the responsibility. Of the roughly 170,000 remaining Michigan auto manufacturing employees, it’s likely that more than 100,000 are subject to UAW officials’ monopoly-bargaining power. In order to keep their jobs, employees must...

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) — As the first active-duty military troops sent to the U.S. border with Mexico installed coils of razor wire on a bridge and a riverbank Friday, a sense of unease spread across Texas’ Rio Grande Valley.President Donald Trump’s portrayal of a border under siege by drug smugglers and other criminals is at odds with what residents in towns along the 1,954-mile (3,126-kilometer) divide with Mexico see in their daily routines, with U.S. border towns consistently ranking among the safest in the country. Some Valley residents question the need for a large military presence and fear it will...

HOUSTON — A disabled Air Force veteran posted photos online of an MSNBC news crew blocking handicapped parking outside an early voting place in southwest Houston Tuesday. He and his wife, Sarah, drove their van to the center for early voting. When they arrived around 8 a.m., the couple saw MSNBC blocking the only van accessible parking spot. So the Berries parked in a back lot. Cars crammed around...

More than 4.3 million Texans have cast early ballots in the state’s 30 largest counties alone, an impressive tally that’s within striking distance of the total number of ballots cast statewide during the last midterm elections in 2014. Data through Thursday from the secretary of state includes counties that are home to nearly 80 percent of Texas’ population. That’s compared to the 4.7 million-plus total ballots cast in 2014′s top-of-the-ballot Texas governor’s race.

Beto O’Rourke, the candidate running to replace Republican Senator Ted Cruz in Texas, might want to let his campaign staffers know they can’t use the campaign bank account as a slush fund to funnel assistance to illegal aliens. But media-darling O’Rourke’s young lefty staff members did just that, according to yet another undercover video by Project Veritas (video below). And they admitted they broke black-letter campaign finance law. According to PV, O’Rourke’s hip young staffers, who spend a lot of time lying about on the floor, “appear to be illegally using campaign resources to buy supplies and help transport Honduran...

Sen. Ted Cruz (R) suggested on Friday that staffers working for his opponent in the Texas Senate race, Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D), were using campaign funds to help "people coming here illegally." Cruz also called on O'Rourke to say whether he supported allowing a migrant of caravans to "cross illegally" into Texas. "I thought it was a joke, until video broke this morning of his campaign staffers taking campaign money and apparently using it to give to people coming here illegally," Cruz said in a speech, according to a clip posted by a Cruz campaign official on Friday. "There are...

Rejected voter registrations, malfunctioning voting machines, confusion among election workers. These problems and more have surfaced during early voting ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections. A rundown of voting problems so far around the country: Some Texas voters reported that balloting machines changed their straight-ticket selections to the other party in key races during early voting. State officials said the problem was connected to Hart eSlate voting machines, which are used in about 30 percent of counties statewide. They said problems can occur when voters complete and submit ballots too quickly. The machines do not provide receipts, but voters see a...
