The growing body count as of this writing is 120 slaughtered in the Bataclan. We'll never know how much that body count could have been reduced if the foolish French allowed their citizens to go armed. Their imprudent gun control laws contributed to unnecessary carnage. Once again, when seconds counted, the police were just too many minutes away.

Another prime example of gun control at its finest is the story of these two unarmed officers being gunned down by… a thug with a gun. Wait, didn’t gun control stop it? Long Beach Police officers had an "obstructed view" when they opened fire on a man who was allegedly running from a standoff Sunday, according to a press release issued Monday. "Long Beach officers, who were located on the beach, east of the foot of the stairs with an obstructed view due to palm trees and shrubbery, heard gunshots from above and saw the suspect running toward the populated beach area," the press release stated. "The suspect failed to surrender and after officers observed him reaching or his waist band, an officer involved shooting occurred."

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After meeting for eight hours, the grand jury submitted a document to the criminal clerk of court saying it will not indict Officer Randall Kerrick on the charge of voluntary manslaughter related to the shooting death of Jonathan Ferrell.
