Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The crowd is already gathering outside the American Airlines Center for the Trump campaign rally tomorrow evening. Among those in the small crowd that is slowly building, this group of women talked to us about why they came out so early. “Mr Trump, President Trump. [What are some of the things that you support that he’s done?] Oooh so much, (the wall), the wall for sure… security … he brought faith back out in the community … all of the above and being able to say God again.” The women, mostly strangers before today are from Des...

would seem so, from this blog entry, which Davis posted this morning: The question has arisen, and here is the answer. My contract with WBAP's new owners, Cumulus, ended last week and we have been unable to reach an agreement on a renewal. I will be in all the other places I occupy-- Fox 4 and WFAA, and my column in the Dallas Morning News-- and I will be here in the blogosphere every day, often multiple times, with my thoughts on matters large and small. Keep a good thought for all my friends at BAP, and treat them with...

From Facebook, Chris Plante had this to say: "All, I will be guest hosting tomorrow (Friday) morning on WBAP in Dallas for Mark Davis - who is off for the day. It airs on WBAP from (Eastern Time) 9:30am to Noon. That's of course 8:30am to 1:00pm Dallas / Central Time. Hey, $27.50 in the bank, my friends.. Beat THAT! I am listening to them now on Al Gore's Amazing Internet."

Heard this live today and thought some might want to hear Berg delve into some more detail you might be unfamiliar with. This, I think, was treated fairly by Davis, and is a pretty big deal to get this kind of exposure. We'll see how this plays out in the next 12 days(months?).

While we gear up for our next major pieces, here's a roundup of the latest fodder: --- Did Al Franken really mock a disabled Vietnam Vet during a recent Asheville radio interview? BoreAmerica has the details, we'd like to hear the audio of this interview, if the host could please make it available. BoreAmerica also believes Janeane Garofalo has a promising future doing public service announcements, especially for booster seats. --- Lots of tension at ABC Radio, as worried staffers ponder who will be taking over some of America's largest talk radio stations (KGO, KSFO, WLS, WBAP, WABC, WMAL and...

Especially from the "progressive" network's supporters, it's funny to see how carefully scrutinized our Air America coverage has routinely become. What's not mentioned, however, is how AAR's harshest critics are increasingly on the left. Originating with Marc Maron's on-air protests concerning his upcoming "Morning Sedition" removal, a deep liberal divide has recently begun to emerge concerning the network's future. Normally, a radio talk host marked for termination doesn't stick around for two months to complain about it. Nasty as it may seem, standard procedure is an instant programming schedule disappearing act......

I was looking at the WBAP website, and noticed that, on their job board, they are advertising for a talk show host, 6 pm - 9 pm. WBAP is the 50,000 watt Dallas/Ft. Worth AM station which hosts Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Paul Harvey, Jerry Doyle, and was where Mike Gallagher worked when he was just a local talk show host. Here's the direct link: CLICK HERE

Earlier today it was mentioned that the daughter of Barnes, the man who has claimed to help Bush with the Guard, was on a Dallas radio station. It has been reported that she said Barnes is not being honest. On Hannity and Colmes tonight, Hannity mentioned that it was on WBAP AM. Earlier today, he mentioned on his radio show that it was on the Mark Davis show. http://www.wbap.com/showdj.asp?DJID=1397 I thought I would put the link up to WBAP. There is a listen live button. Mark Davis' show runs from 9am - 11:40am Mon-Fri. If the issue is brought up...

I live in Dallas and am listening to WBAP, which is re-broadcasting its braodcast from the day Kennedy was killed. Very interestng. First eyewitness interviewed by WBAP claims there were 2 shots fired from the hill (i.e. grassy knoll). She then says that she ran towards the hill where the shots were fired in order to see who fired the shots. I find this revealing because people who support the lone gunmen theory always support their position by stating that shots could not have come from the grassy knoll because the eyewitneses ran towards the knoll, i.e. why would someone...
