  • Sarah Palin Talks To CNN At The Fair

A persistent Don Lemon got a lot of ‘Sarah time’ today at the Iowa State fair ground, giving us what amounts to a great interview. The one thing that surprised me was that when she was asked about the ‘submission’ question last night from the debate, she said that she thought it was fair game and that Bachmann handled it very well. Directly after that she was asked if Todd told her not to run for president, would she submit. Her answer to that ended up being rather cute, noting that Todd would never order her to do anything like...

While always open to the idea of one day supporting Sarah Palin for President, since 2008, I've gone back and forth on whether or not I thought it was smart for her to run next year. Re-visiting my thoughts yesterday, what with Palin's appearance in Iowa, not only am I convinced she should run, she needs to run and, regardless of one's preferred candidate, all Conservatives should encourage her to run and welcome her into the race, assuming she does.Put aside the purely Republican primary politics of it for a moment. Also, I'm not endorsing her, or anyone at this...

After a nearly three-month hiatus, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is planning to crash the presidential party once again with a heartland-themed re-launch of her "One Nation" bus tour this week in Iowa, according to a Palin fundraising email obtained by CNN. Palin is bringing her Constitution-themed bus to the Iowa State Fair, just 30 miles south of where the Republican presidential field will take the stage on Thursday for a presidential debate in Ames. It's not yet clear which day the tour will begin, but her surprise arrival in Iowa will happen before the closely watched Ames straw poll....

El Rushbo calls it like it is. To the statists (including big government RINOs), the leftists, the socialists, the communists...we are all Sarah Palin. Just as she has been targeted for destruction, so we are targeted for destruction. Our mere existence stands in the way of their headlong drive to accumulate all power to themselves. Sarah Palin took to Facebook this afternoon to urge GOP freshmen to “remember us ‘little people’” as the debt debate wears on. She wrote: “Today I re-read the open letter I wrote to Republican Freshman Members of Congress in November 2010, just days after they were ushered into office in an historic landslide victory due in large part to the activism of commonsense patriots who are considered part of the Tea Party movement. I respectfully ask these GOP Freshman to re-read this letter and remember us ‘little people’ who believed in them, donated to their campaigns, spent hours tirelessly volunteering...

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin weighed in on the debt ceiling debate on social media just hours before a key House vote. (Twitter) *snip* In a post on her Facebook page from "proverbial politico flyover country," the former Alaska governor reprinted a letter she sent to newly elected members last fall, emphasizing the need to "rein in out-of-control government spending" and "check the growth of spending on our entitlement programs." "I respectfully ask these GOP Freshman to re-read this letter and remember us 'little people' who believed in them, donated to their campaigns, spent hours tirelessly volunteering for them, and...

Let the speculation… continue.*snip*So what do you think? A speech on the future of America, or one maybe even to announce an endorsement — perhaps a presidential announcement? All I know is that the place will be jumping and the media will show up in droves — at least the ones who aren’t still hospitalized with PTRMD (Post Traumatic Rolling Menace Disorder). Or maybe it’s just a head-fake on Sarah’s part to see if she can get George Lopez to move to Canada. I guess we’ll find out soon enough. Palin’s Labor Day weekend appearance, coincidentally, will be on the...

Washington (CNN) - Sarah Palin will return to Iowa over Labor Day weekend as she continues to stoke speculation about her presidential ambitions. The former Alaska governor will be the keynote speaker at a tea party rally in the Des Moines suburb of Waukee in early September. The "Restoring America" event is being organized by The Tea Party of America, an Iowa-based conservative group.

. Palin's ideological divide. This is weird. She actually scores better with self-described "liberal" and "moderate" Republicans (14%) than with "conservative" Republicans (11%). In fact, she doubles Bachmann among liberals and moderates, and Bachmann beats her among conservatives.

Sarah Palin criticizes Boehner for trying to reinvent the wheel and not sticking with Cut, Cap, and Balance which is why he is having trouble getting enough votes to pass his current plan. But she also criticizes Obama for scaring the American people with this crisis mentality and says he doesn’t understand that we have a spending problem in this country, which prompts her to reiterate: “It’s the spending stupid!” "That's the hypocrisy that I guess is inherit in this politics as usual from these Washington DC characters, they say one thing as candidates and they get elected and do...
