Lurking, since December, 2001...

Decided to "jump in" as a result of the following:


1)A personal confidence in President Bush, as a TRUE 'Commander-In-Chief' (unlike the last 'office-holder'), and as profiled in the daily inspirational posts/accolades by admiring FR subscribers, especially the 'Daily Dose.'

2)The 'BREAKING NEWS' section of "Free Republic," allowing one to keep up with the developing events in Iraq as each unfolded during "Operation Iraqi Freedom" (thanks!)

3)A personal 'experience,' while attending Glenn Beck's final "Rally for the Troops" celebration, in Huntington, West (by Gosh) Virginia, during Memorial Day festivities, 2003.

4)A brief history/geography lesson here: At the time I was in elementary school, one was required to learn the names of the 50 states and their capitals. Now, more often than not, when I identify myself as being from West Virginia, LOTS of people will say, "Oh, I have relatives near Richmond".

" West" Virginia became a separate State in 1863. The western counties 'broke away' from Virginia. The capital of Virginia remains as Richmond. I am in Huntington, West (by Gosh) Virginia, approximately 6-7 hours driving time from Richmond. Our capital happens to be Charleston...

5)I like the meaning of the words, 'you are either WITH us, or you are against us.' One hopes the nations of the world were attending to the significance of those words; words which were not uttered without meaning.

He says what he means, and he means what he says!



For quite some time, my tagline was a word of caution to the wise among FReepers, from a speech by Hillary on 6/28/2004: "We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." She has now moved to "center" but do not be fooled. The "comrade" in her shines through. Watch out for 2008, and guard against her intentions and her evil designs....

In the vernacular of the current time, any who disregard that statement she made are "Stuck on Stupid."
