I think that linked article from the Seattle Times is just an attempt to save-face for the scientists... this has obviously gotten too mixed up to make sense of.

Which makes it glaringly apparent that environmental scientists and organizations will never be known for following credible science. With messes & scandals like this one, it is obvious that you can never trust anything they say.

"just an attempt to save-face for the scientists..."

Sorry, but they're not scientists, they're liars.

A package of 34 treaties, all of which were ratified by a show of hands -- no recorded vote.

One reason the media would want to keep the lid on this is that there's a gazillion out-of-work lumberjacks (and some severely depressed regional economies) across the west due to decades of these junk science frauds. A million or so displaced and extremely irate Americans might have a few cross words for them.

The fact that so many little people have lost jobs, homes, or even their families, is insignificant to these statist pukes. It would do them good to spend a few hours explaining to some of those affected (preferably in a closed room) just how their fraudulent actions are for the common good.

"These offenses minimally amount to professional malfeasance of the highest order,"

This is probably the same tactic used by the Dep't of Fish and Game that trespassed on that California farmer's land and ostensibly "FOUND"some bones that they CLAIMED were those of some stupid rare kangaroo rat. They penalized that poor farmer worse than if he had killed a bunch of people!

I'll bet that if there were any such bones there, they were planted by the same type of gubmn't crooks!

The seven biologists -- three from the Forest Service, two from the Fish and Wildlife Service and two from the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife

Just wanted to remind you Sheep out there, that you just gave these five "biologists" a five percent pay raise, effective today (1/1/02). Congratulations, suckers.

Not accurate, jennyp. Go to the Washington Times and look at the Audrey Hudson stories.

If you think that DoI or USFS is above this sort of thing, think again.

An excellent reference is "undue influence" by Ron Arnold.

One or two guys in a single area I can believe is a conspiracy of a few greens, multiple federal employees in different departments? This is not a conspiracy, it is an agenda by the federal government. Firing is not an option, hard time in prison and a congressional hearing is what should have been done. The fact that it just got swept under the rug is a very big danger sign. I got a suggestion that will save the government billions. Just put chain link fences around all city limits, it will be much cheaper than trying to fence all the forests…

I simply have to agree with your post #45! It's an agenda alright. If they want to save animals from being exploited, how about starting with our borders!
