Watching Trump's Speech at Mt Rushmore. Biden CLOSED DOWN Mt Rushmore This Year to Prevent Gathering of Patriots. Noem Obeyed.
Mt Rushmore is a national park. That’s federal territory. She had no choice.
I would like to see some Governor supercede federal authority, since national parks are not in the Constitution.
The feds pulled the funding from the fireworks and staffing
đź’Ż exactly
Staffing pulled closed the park. Just like what Obama did at veterans national monuments when he pulled his budget tantrums
How much to rent a fireworks guy?
My city fair has 15 minute nightly fireworks and half hour on the last night of the fair. How expensive can it be for a state?
The park was closed
It is miles into it.
Are national parks in the Constitution?
If not, that seems to be something that states can take back.
“Mt Rushmore is a national park. That’s federal territory. She had no choice.”
You’d walk in to the ovens whistling.
No choice. Feds told us to.
“I would like to see some Governor supercede federal authority, since national parks are not in the Constitution.”
Which is why Noem should have ignored it.
Called it a sanctuary park.
I rewatched the Trump show and kept thinking that was another Trump Win. Thank you hope to make it a tradition.
It’s federal property.
Which means it belongs to the people.
“The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.” Article IV Section 3.
lol. idiotic rage post.
Keystone had two displays...you can see Mt Rushmore from keystone
If I remember correctly, the first areas that ranked park status were both in California, Kings Canyon and Sequoia. But since California was a state they gave the parks to the state. When they seized Yellowstone, Wyoming was not yet a State, so the national Park service was formed to protect it. It would seem, statehood would negate the National Park service.
Most of what the Feds do is not in the Constitution.
I agree. There may have been a necessity for the federal government to administer lands that were not yet admitted into the union, but once it is admitted into the union as a state, the state takes over.
Not her say.
“Most of what the Feds do is not in the Constitution.”
I tend to agree.
